Wouldn't surprise me if Timberlake's arrest is just P.R. to bounce back from his bas album and the release of the Brittany book where he came off like a doof. Maybe turn him into an edgy badboy again who has to have a comeback story

that or he's just a celebrity who drives drunk
He sold out his tour so I dont think he is hurting

Sorry Timberlake - if Billy Joel isn't allowed to drive drunk in the Hamptons you sure as hell aren't.
Local legend has it that Billy Joel would take out his boat, go hit up some bars in Connecticut on the other side of LI Sound, get trashed, then get back in the boat.
Him actually thinking this will ruin his tour got me thinking about DUIs. I know almost as many people who have had a DUI/DWI as those who don't. It's at least a third of the people I know.
I'm curious what your opinions are on the most commonly broken laws in the country are. I have a feeling that almost all of the them involve driving or drinking/drugs in some way.
My guess would be:
1. Speeding 2. Using your phone (texting, etc) while driving 3. No seatbelt 4. Underage drinking 5. Driving under the influence
Probably some other stuff like jay-walking, loitering, disorderly conduct mixed in.

I'm pretty strict about the driving drunk. I had a friend killed by a drunk driver when I was very young. So that influenced me a lot. If I have one drink, I don't drive.

Just saw this TikTok of someone complaining about Yves Tumor’s antics at Bonnaroo (summary: he was harassing the camera crew and damaged some equipment).

Most interesting part is Bonnaroo doesn’t hire professional camera operators, they’re volunteer college students lol
it's the MTSU film department, and from what I heard they only worked one tent. I did the same gig at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater when I was at Bama, even got to direct the show for John Mayer

I don't have any faith in it getting resolved in a way that will politically work but there should be firmer penalties for texting/browsing while driving. Not just the safety impact but traffic congestion for people going slow and not paying attention.

Had a driver instructor in driver's ed class that was strict and we couldn't do anything without the seatbelt. Once I started driving on my own it just felt natural and I can't really imagine not doing it. None of the rest of my family do it, though.
Yeah I speed, but only the normal 5-10 over so that I’m going the same speed as basically everyone else.
I will text at red lights but try not to.
I absolutely drank underage.
I always wear my seatbelt. It’s more comfortable and I feel like I can drive better being centered.
I’ve for sure drive over the limit before and am not proud of it. I use Lyft now if I want to drink and my wife also basically stopped drinking after having our son, so she drives if we go out now

there’s also a lot of obscure old laws that never got repealed. Ex: eating hamburgers on a Sunday in Minnesota is illegal.
