If they miss RHCP they somehow missed out on every interesting headliner available on a year with an abnormal amount of interesting headliners
I’d think if any of the major festivals gets the Frusciante reunion it’s Lolla. Hell, there’s already video floating around of him jamming with the guys from Jane’s Addiction.

Yeah it's gotta be Chili Peppers or maybe NIN? If neither, they may not have another one to go with Foo's. I could see your top 8 and they just replace RHCP with Post Malone.
Would LOVE Gaga. As far as female headliners go she's near the top of the list for me.
Not trying to be a dick here, but I assume you mean she’s near the top of your list for pop headliners. Probably better to say it that way that use female synonymously with pop.

I see what your saying, i guess i should have said "female-led pop." I don't mean for them to be synonymous at all. What I mean is if they're trying to make sure the headliners are diverse and there's going to be a female-led pop act, she'd be my ideal candidate. As opposed to someone like Katy Perry, Miley, TSwift, etc.
Killer Mike was a guest on an Atlanta Hawks broadcast last night and said Run the Jewels would be at Lollapalooza. He didn’t specify Chicago, but he was talking about other US fests.

Are you sure he wasn’t talking about the European versions? They aren’t opening for Rage in Chicago because they are playing Pitchfork. I doubt Pitchfork would let them play another Chicago fest two weeks later.

Honestly don’t know...he was talking about the US tour w/ Rage, Coachella, Bonnaroo, then mentioned Lolla. He may’ve misspoken or meant Berlin, but the context was all US up to that point.
Piqniq lineup is out. Foster the People, Neon Trees, Phantogram, Yelawolf, Lovelytheband, Meg Myers, Dreamers, Bones (UK), The Blue Stones, and Kitten.
Lolla shares 1-2 artists with Piqniq every year but never the top artist so Foster the People is out.

Smashing Pumpkins tour ends late July with no Chicago dates. I thought they were more likely for Riot but this may point to a Lolla appearance instead. Would be a good north stage headliner against a pop or rap act on the south
