Only 6 seeds 17 or lower made it past round 1, for an upset % of 9.4. This round will almost certainly have a higher % and might even beat the total of 6.
Also, two of our Cinderella seeds are guaranteed to survive since they are matched up against each other in this round. As many as 4 can advance.

Abbey Road recently became my favourite Beatles album. As much as I love Sgt Peppers, I think it’s their best in terms of being a unit. Come Together has amazing performances by everyone, the album has the two best George songs imo, and even a Ringo song.

Yeah my favorite Beatles track/album always changes, but at this point in time I would say that the Abbey Road medley is lyrically & sonically the best encapsulation of the band. Definitely agree on the George front - Something & Here Comes the Sun are both absolutely stellar.
Favorite album I've been going back and forth between Rubber Soul and Revolver of late. Both albums have such an amazing blend of rock and pop. Their transformation as songwriters & musicians, along with their groundbreaking studio techniques make these albums such a joy to listen to. Sgt Peppers I think benefits from it's ideology & concept more so than the strength of the music alone, or the songs individually. I love the album, but it's probably not making my top three.

Let it Be vs Golden Slumbers is a painful match up. Golden Slumbers is one of my favourite Beatles songs. Possibly my second favourite Beatles song (well, the Medley is my second favourite Beatles).... behind Let it Be. But Let it Be is one of the best songs ever written. Golden Slumbers deserves so much better than going out in round 2.
1 Let It Be 16 Golden Slumbers - Fuck you so much for this one. I'm voting for Golden Slumbers bc I know Let it Be will make it through and I'll get to push it forward again.
2 Can’t Buy Me Love 18 When I’m Sixty-Four
3 I Want to Hold Your Hand 14 Carry That Weight
4 With a Little Help From My Friends 13 Nowhere Man
5 Blackbird 12 Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! - this one was shockingly difficult. You couldn't match up two more different songs. I know Blackbird will probably win, so I'm going for the underdog here.
6 Eight Days a Week 11 Oh! Darling
7 Happiness is a Warm Gun 10 Something - god, another fucking brutal one. But you know what, Happiness is a Warm Gun is a great song, but it's never moved me to tears. Whereas I've straight up ugly cried at Something before.
