My, how this festival has devolved from a great mash-up of genres to this crapfest. Last year I went was 2016, was a teen fest by then; Budweiser couldn't even get enough people to participate in the burger contest with free burgers because nobody was 21 and over! I did appreciate that I had free food though, lol.
11/28 Raveonettes (Copenhagen, Denmark) 12/4 Interpol 12/14 LCD Soundsystem 12/31 Billy Joel 1/25 The Killers (Las Vegas) 2/12 Jack White 2/25 Father John Misty 3/6 Inhaler 4/10 Franz Ferdinand 4/17 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds 5/15 Amyl & the Sniffers 5/18 Fontaines D.C. 9/1 Oasis
I could take or leave Travis but I'd be totally down to see Cardi. Blake, .paak, Kaytranada, Gibbs/Lib, Jorja...honestly I don't think it's that bad of a lineup and those acts are more quality than what I expect from MIA. Suprised .paak is there though, he's already played Philly once this year and is playing again relatively soon...and now again for MIA.

Bottom card has a good amount of stuff tbh. Jacob Banks, Kaytranada, Tierra Whack, MadGibbs, Dababy, Megan Thee Stallion, Channel Tres are all pretty solid acts for a fest like this
there were rumors of it dying when i worked it back in 2014. How its still breathing after Bud dropped off and the lineups steadily declining is beyond me.
To those who've attended, is it a well organized/run fest? Travis and Cardi are more than enough to satisfy the $175 price, and the undercard is pretty decent

its easy to get in an out of, security is pretty lax, beer lines are short, food options aren't great, there's a decent amount of shade, bathroom situation is pretty good, layout is kinda wonky, crowd is pretty young, sound is usually solid
security is a joke. last time i went the line was short but not really moving so we opened the side of the security barricade and walked right in without anyone noticing. Ive also walked in with a flask in my pock without a second look every year i went. towards sunset the crowd will get annoying and sloppy. Sound quality is top notch though.

Yeah, the sound quality is indeed excellent. Crowd was super hit-or-miss in my experiences (2014/2015), and the food options weren't great with long-ass lines. Security was also a joke.
1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/4: knock2 3/7: Inhaler* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
I think I am going to go to the Cardi day of this. I have wanted to see Cardi for a while and the odds that I dont get at least 2 or 3 of Paak, Gibbs, James Blake, Lizzo, Jorja, Terra, or Kaytranda is very low
