There are (as of November) 52 albums which have automatically qualified for the Album of the Year tournament, meaning - had received two or more albums for its respective month. For this year's play-in round, I'm going to do like what I did last year.

You can select any FIVE (5) albums released in 2018 which do NOT already have automatic bids into the tournament. The albums that appear on the most ballots fill in the remaining slots on the bracket. (I'm not going to give an exact number as to how many make it, due to December voting and me possibly throwing in a personal favorite in round one.)

If you wanted to vote for something in December, you could put four albums down. Then for #5, say (December album) if it doesn't qualify. If it does, list a backup in it's place.
