Yeah and that’s why I’m iffy on it. Feels a bit “major city alternative radio station” but it is the single. I didn’t expect such a hard turn but I respect it.

I really love the heavier side of King Gizz and the new album delivers on this pretty well. New Oh Sees is great as well. The last song was a chore to sit through (20 mins).
Also, Moor Mother has a new album, Analog Fluids of Sonic Black Holes, coming out November 8th on Don Giovanni. Album includes contributions from Saul Williams, Justin K. Broadrick, King Britt, Philadelphia rapper Reef the Lost Cauze, and others.

Jaz, ideally new music/album announcements are here or Upcoming Releases thread.
AoTM thread is for discussion of that month’s favorite albums.
I'd expect some amount of new album discussion would happen in the AotM thread for those that the individual poster or a large portion of inforoo as a whole would be expected to potentially vote for in AotM. Tool is a good example as a good portion of posters are at least going to make sure to give it a listen and give it an honorable mention as long as it hits the normal level you'd expect from them.
That being said, new LP/EP/song news is always welcome in this thread and Upcoming Releases.

Ah thanks, in the back of my head I was like "neither of these feel right" and it's because the Upcoming Releases thread hasn't been posted in since June so it fell way off my radar (I generally browse by Most Recent Thread). I've always seen this thread as more individual track-based. It's slightly disorganized/ambiguous.

For me, the original intent was that Upcoming Releases would be more of a list based informational presentation of notable releases. This album is coming out on this date, etc. Tell Us About New Music was meant to be more of a discussion thread of releases. It feels like this one kind of won out as a one stop shop.
To commemorate 100% EletroniCON, Saint Pepsi (Skylar Speance-Ryan DeRobertis) just dropped his first album in 6 years...Mannequin Challenge hits all the right notes here...Concise, cohesive album that just flows with a great mix of beats.
Check out the track "I Need Your Love in Me" below:
New Swans album leaving meaning is out October 25, featuring The Necks, Anna and Maria Von Hausswolff, Baby Dee, Ben Frost, Jeremy and Heather of a Hawk, Hacksaw, and more.

So is he back to being saint Pepsi? The last Skylar Spencer album was grossly underrated

Along with the entirety of the 2010-2017 lineup of the band which I was surprised by.
