On a different note has anyone tried disc jam festival? And if so, your thoughts?
Here’s my deal. I promised my twin daughters (19) that’d I take them to MJ this year as a Christmas gift. Now MJ is in a state of flux and uncertainty. We really wanna bring them to a good campout festival. Right now Peach Festival (no car camping) and disc jam festival are options.
Peach Fest is the most like old school MJ. I’m not a fan of the venue but they put on a good show for a low price.
Can you car camp with a tent anywhere? Possibly RV camping?

You can buy an RV spot (although I am pretty sure they are sold out, they usually sell out day 1) and camp at it but as Kim mentioned, it is just a gravel lot so I can't imagine it is any more comfortable than the mountain.
Disc Jam always looks fun from the pictures that my friends who have gone post. But yeah it is a little on the jamtronica/Bisco crowd side and a little more wookish. I would go by myself but wouldn't bring the family like I would if I had any chance of another fest this year. I usually love most of the lineup though.

This past Monday the organizers of Mountain Jam, which is now under new ownership, informed us that after 14 years the festival will not take place at Hunter Mountain in 2019.
While we are disappointed to see the festival move, we would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to the many supporters who made Hunter Mountain a successful Mountain Jam venue for more than a decade, including our loyal customers, the Town of Hunter and Greene County.
We remain excited by our 2019 summer and fall event schedule -- headlined by the popular Taste of Country festival on June 7-9 -- and we will provide our loyal guests with updates on new events and entertainment opportunities as they are added.
I spoke to Hunter Mountain lodge today, and she said it definitely will not be there this year and she didn't know where it will be. She didn't know anything else, where or the date. She was 100% sure it wasn't at Hunter Mountain.

We are all on the same page of the festival not taking place on Hunter Mountain. I was asking if he’s positive the line up was dropping Wednesday

I understood that. But more importantly I want to know when and where now. I've had a place booked for 6 months. Do I need to change dates and or location. And then, depending on the lineup, date and location would determine if we go. It's not just the lineup for us now.
