I seriously wish I could do Bonnaroo 2014 over again. I would have seen Deafheaven and/or Chance the Rapper late night, Damon Albarn instead of Cage the Elephant, and skipped Wiz Khalifa to have a decent spot for Elton John.

I should have gotten in the Kanye pit in 2014 instead of waiting in the crowd all day. Should have seen Disclosure instead of Ice Cube (seen ice cube twice again since then). Should have seen Caribou instead of getting in the Billy Joel pit. I should have seen Antonio Sanchez doing the Birdman score in the cinema tent. I should have stayed up for Darkside.
I spent time during Roo 2011 watching a Bruins game at the sports lounge. It was for the Stanley Cup, but not a game where they could clinch. They lost. MMJ was playing at the same time.
I slept during at least one headliner set during Roo 2012. And nearly all of Friday at Moog 2011. Wasn't a good moment.

I don’t think I have any festival regrets, but I did buy tickets for Cage the Elephant instead of Prince’s last show. They were way too pricey so I would’ve only gotten one, but had he been playing the guitar I wouldn’t have hesitated.
E: I also had a friend giving away free tix to Tom Petty’s last ATL show but couldn’t get work off
Darkside vs St Vincent vs Queens Of The Stone Age and I fucking saw Dirtyphonics instead cause brostep was the shit bruhhh. I'll also never forgive myself skipping OutKast over Camo & Crooked and Klangkarussel.
I pretty much got stranded at Calvin Harris over the Postal Service in 2013 because my phone died and I couldn't really get separated from the people I was with. I ended up spending a lot of the show in the medical tent with this girl my friend was trying to have sex with who earlier had called the Postal Service "gay". Calvin Harris was better than I expected, tbh.

Wasted all of 2015 (?) Thursday in medical tent, friend rolled her ankle and I felt guilty. Got back out to the shows in time for the last half hour of rubblebucket, rest of the night was fun but that start wow.
Roo 14 if I had known I wasn't gonna get in the Kanye pit after waiting so long I would have seen Neutral Milk Hotel instead. Maybe even if I would have gotten in the Kanye pit, I should have seen NMH instead.
Otherwise no real regrets, though if I'd have known that people were able to just walk into the Macca pit halfway through, I'd have done that.

I wish I had gone to the last Rothbury in ‘09. I had the time off as I was in a long work lay-off and was still buzzing from my first Bonnaroo. I just didn’t feel like trekking to Michigan at the time. It would have been a wonderful adventure.

Most of my regrets are from when I split sets and the second act is good enough to make me feel dumb for not seeing the whole set.
Examples: Earth Wind and Fire at Roo 15 (RtJ for first half) MCDE at Panorama 17 (Tame Impala for most of it) The xx at Lolla 17 (Chance the Rapper for first half)
was it good? I was in the What stage crowd from Chvrches to LCD, but forgot to eat before going in and had to leave the rail behind the pit cause I was so hungry.

Yeah the gyros at bonnaroo are some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend the stand in the walkway between that and what.

It wasn't Thursday. Not sure if it was Fri or Sat. I say that because 1 of my regrets is not knowing about Atomic Bomb in 15 and after I shot MMJ I just chilled with friends waiting for Rubblebucket to start. Glad hyou got to see some of that set.
#2 is not feeling well and having to nap Thursday 2012 and missing Orgone. Not sure what I could have done differently, just bad timing there I guess.
Starting drinking at sunrise every day in 04. Ended up passing out and missed all of The Dead. That made me sad.
Also wish I'd made a play for the pit for what turned out to be the Beasties last show. Watched it from afar and that simply never works for me at the What Stage. Too disconnected.
Leaving during Petty in 13(?) because it was pissing out. Thought i2s have more chances to see him again. (Did see his 06 show but was further back.)
Leaving the MMJ rain drenched Which show in 08. Was just fine being wet but missed Kirk Hammett.
Oh. And watching all of Unchained. I kept waiting for the joke to play out but that was the joke. No secret show disguised as a Van Halen cover band. Just a Van Halen cover band taking up a late night spot.

4/10
Not to brag but...
also to dog on myself some....
missed Iggy Pop to see the end of Head and Heart, for what would be the first of three times, to get good spot for Postal Service, and last minute ditched my good spot to see A Place to Bury Strangers, for what would be the first of four times, giving up my spot and also not seeing any of Iggy.

Bonnaroo-specific
-Missing almost all of Chance The Rapper '14 for sleep -Missing Darkside for sleep -Missing Jack White for prime spots at Lauryn Hill and Frank Ocean -Missing Skrillex' Superjam and The FLips for Frank Ocean (I should've split sets) -Missing D'Angelo for that trash superjam and Flume -Choosing Cage The Elephant on the worst stage at the festival over Damon Albarn at the best -Drinking too much Sunday of '15 and missing all of the acts -Eating too much corn Friday of '16 and not being able to fullly enjoy Kamasi, J Cole, LCD, or any of the garbage late night options -Allowing my friends to decide that Lollapalooza was a better option than Bonnaroo in 2012, because i was too young and apprehensive of traveling alone. Lolla was a good ass time. Bonnaroo had my favorite band playing their longest set ever.

Honestly wouldn’t feel too bad about missing chance. It was crowded and quiet
