Playboi Carrie wasn’t that good. The show was okay, and the music sounded okay but he didn’t rap or sing a fifth of that set. It was like he was his own hype man. His dj was covering, but come on man. Hopefully the Rocky show will be good. I haven’t seen or watched him in a while.

Yeah. I thought it was pretty decent. It could have been better or worse. He let things drag a bit the first half the show between songs. That was taking away some momentum. I thought the slow shit was good, so it was more about delays. What did you think?
The live band was actually pretty cool. The saxophone guy seemed like he was putting more work in than Rocky at the beginning. But other than that it seemed like a typical A$AP Rocky show. Cool stage show and aesthetics, but messy performance. I've literally never seen A$AP Rocky not put on a messy show. Like they're still fun because of the energy and music. But it's like he never has a setlist thought through. He didn't even perform Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2
Tyler’s set was legendary in the vip pit. Mosh pit was literally on Slayer’s level. Ive been going to his shows since 2012, this dude is next level now. We wouldve moshed to The Grinch if he had performed it. He did a new song. It was fucking rad. OKRA was the best.
Rocky was dope, havent seen him since 6 years ago when he headlined Fun Fun Fun Fest. He’s not as great of a performer as Tyler or Kendrick or Gambino because his set just doesnt feel consistent in the ways theirs do. Mosh was really fun. He also did a new song, which sampled Tame Impala. It was kind of sloppy tbh. Looking back at the clips i recorded it definitely wasnt as good as i thought it did in the moment.
The Internet were groovy as fuck and i really wish they had more time in their set. I really will consider going to their Austin show next week. I can see them carrying the torch of the old school funk-r&b vibe from George Clinton, etc (likewise with Thundercat).
Rex Orange County was good but i wasnt really familiar with his music as i should/will be.
Hobo Johnson was decent but the frontman seems weird. The Kelly Clarkson “Since Youve Been Gone” cover was outta nowhere.
1 Tyler 2 The Internet 3 A$AP Rocky 4 Rex Orange County 5 Hobo Johnson
I wouldve stayed for Pusha T and maybe a bit of SZA (in case she brought out Kendrick) but my friends wanted to dip. Im sure Push will show up during KSG.
Well reading this has me adequately hyped to see Pusha T next week
It’s on replay and up to Little Dragon. I guess they are showing it again but it will be a few hours until Pusha comes on again and during the early football games. But if you are around a phone or pc or YouTube on your tv, you can check some of it out. Raphael Siddiq is next so, it’s 4 hours from that, and some of it was a few minutes behind official schedule. Tyler was out in the middle section between the fans singing the entire Pusha T set. So that was also kind of cool.

Nice! Hopefully they do a similar playback for KSG Monday
For sure. I soured on Kanye over the years, but with being off Monday due to tomorrow being Veterans Day holiday, I think I’ll watch Kids See Ghosts later on. I like Cudi enough, and though I haven’t listened to any of this project, I’ve read that it’s pretty good. So I want to give it a chance. I’m definitely going to watch Flatbush Zombies around 8 Central. Speaking of them, Red Bull TV (free app) has a show next Friday (rerun Saturday) night with them and Denzel Curry’s alter ego Zeltron.
Zeltron vs Zombies — Live from Miami. As a new generation of hip hop emerges from the Miami streets Denzel Curry leads the pack with his undeniable talent, headbanging beats, and punk style rapping. Looking for a crew to match his energy, Denzel's alter ego Zeltron, reached out to friends and collaborators the Flatbush Zombies. Zeltron goes head to head with the Flatbush Zombies in a sound clash/martial arts inspired rap blowout in Miami presented by Red Bull Music
I’ll post the link late week in Webcast thread. Curry is one of my favorite up and coming rappers, and I love that he loves incorporating metal into his songs.
Seeing Tyler in the pit for Pusha was one of the most joyful things I've ever watched on TV. He really deserves all the success he has and will continue to get.
Looks like it'll only be about an hour long. So everything off KSG, couple songs off Ye maybe (definitely Ghost Town), FSMH, and maybe a couple more Kanye/Cudi songs

I only caught a couple minutes and also Flatbush looked fun but I could only catch a second. Maybe I’ll catch the replays. Earl now. He’s gotten better live but his sets can be unpredictable.
