Postjack has both of Plastikman and Richie Hawtin so that means nothing. I think you guys could have made an argument Prydz shouldn't be pickable but no one did.
Prydz and Cirez D are clearly different genres though, which is why I didn't challenge.
Not sure if Aphex Twin and AFX are different enough genre wise to consider them both draftable. But I'm biased.
yeah I think Prydz was fine but I could understand challenging it. The fact is no one challenged it though so it doesn’t rly matter.
Guys I dont know much about electronic music... can someone just tell me if this is the same thing as caribou and *a**n* so I can vote accordingly?
Pretty much, I think. But Caribou also plays with a band/live as he also DJ's under that same alias (so depends on how you draft him I guess?) as the second one you mysteriously mentioned. In his case the difference between both is pretty clear re: the genres both play but it's the same thing. *a**n* is a side project of him.

I think basing on genres is not a rule. And while it may be a clear cut for bloopers, most people don't know the difference between acid/idm/techno enough to say it's definitely different. And i think that should have applied to prydz. Post didn't challenge it out right but he was rubbed the wrong way enough to make a point to say we need to clear this up going forward. If prydz is fine this should be too.
If this gets shot down I think some past picks need to be challenged.
challenging picks that happened weeks ago would be stupid.
Yeah, I totally get that point of view too. Esp since if they were challenged at the time, then higher-tier artists would still be available that may have been taken by now. I just dislike inconsistency, and this feels pretty inconsistent.

I have no idea what a draft is, but I agree with Bing here. A few things: 1. In terms of recent shows, Aphex Twin has a bigger production to make it more "live." AFX played Glastonbury a few years ago, and it was more small-scale and akin to an Aphex Twin "DJ Set." I know Aphex Twin's sets themselves are technically DJ sets, but I think there's still a distinction. 2. On the point of Nicolas Jaar, Caribou, etc. these artists have never been JUST live acts. They kinda evolved that way. Jaar didn't become as much of a live show with instruments until this recent tour. Caribou's live act has evolved over time as well. Regardless, they play different music compared to their scaled-down aliases. I think the same applies to Aphex and AFX as well.
