Going to see doom side of the moon tonight at emos in Austin. If you don’t know it’s members of the sword, brownout, and black joe lewis and the honey bears performing dark side but if it were a stoner metal album
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I need to check this out soon.
They worked with a specific visual designer (forget the name but they had info on them there) and gave our 3d glasses at the door. Shows was really something else. Last year they only played one show in Austin, and this year was a few throughout Texas and Brooklyn. Hopefully next year(or sooner) they play again

Should be interesting to see if any of those show up in Austin for sxsw. Kings Of Leon doing a free Auditorium Shores show or a small venue would actually be kind of cool.

Cardi, Santana, and Stapleton would be cool to see. I'd probably go to Kacey or Kings of Leon if someone just threw tickets at me. Maybe Zedd lol that would be weird.
any of you guys going to toro y moi in houston next week? i'm coming down to visit my sister and trying to convince her to go, but not sure it's gonna happen on a school night.

If I have that night off I might go. Usually have Wednesdays off.
^^ I believe that's the first TX performance from Panopticon. The Dorthia Cottrell (Windhand) is a set of Townes Van Zant covers, too.
Still super jealous of this.
Would be nice to do this and Roo b2b weekends. Wonder if I could pull that off.
My vote is yes. This is the second best Terror fest (so far) of the year, imo. The inclusion of Lightning Bolt and TR/ST is so left field and awesome. If you live remotely near, it's a no-brainer.
Camp Nowhere (ODESZA, ZHU, Gryffin, Chelsea Cutler, Robotaki) is making a TX run: 6.21 Houston at NRG Stadium (not sure how that’ll work; inside stadium or out?) 6.22 Dallas at Dos Equis Pavilion 6.23 Austin at 360 Amphitheater
Vampire Weekend’s TX run: 8.17 Houston at White Oak Music Hall 8.18 Dallas at Toyota Music Factory 8.20-21 Austin at Moody Theater
i need someone to review the panopticon's blaze foley cover show at terror fest. austin is an interesting dude, had no idea he was co-owner of a brewery ive been to a few times.
