If it’s anything like previous registrations like this, the tickets are non transferable and original purchaser must enter. But unlike Ticketmaster, there’s no fan to fan face value resale marketplace. So if you get tickets and then can’t go, fuck you unless you’re rich because there’s no way to sell them. They call this AXS Fair but it’s really AXS Unfair.
Yeah, it says tix non transferable on it. But that aint stopping the resellers on selling their logins.
You can't sell a login, that won't work. The name on the order is tied to the name on the AXS account. The name on the AXS account is set when the AXS account is created, can not be changed without documentation of a legal name change, and has nothing to do with the name used on the credit card for a particular order. It's essentially a will call only account holder must enter show.

well nothing is stopping people from selling fake name change papers /supre

Time to get the McLovin id out.
Show listing does not specify id check will occur at entry yadda yadda yadda. So theres prob gonna be some resale. And youve never gotten into a show this way have you lol. This isnt the Radiohead Shrine shows where they specifically said all ticket holders will have their id checked at entry to match their tickets.

Little Simz at the Roxy used the same “Fair AXS” registration process and was non transferable - and they did check that ID matched account holder name.
These shows are bigger so sure it’s possible they don’t, but definitely a big risk.

They did the same foe the Jai shows in Ny and doesnt seem that they checked id at all. If they really were going to lock this down they shouldve just said limit is one ticket per person.

NY is different because there's a state law that prohibits tickets from being non-transferable. So they did use a registration system, but then tickets were fully transferable.
4 hours to get from home to my seats at Sofi. Gonna think twice about future shows here unless Sunday night is way better.
Yeah the trick is to know what the last song will be. And haul ass to your car halfway through it. Got out of Stones that way with no traffic.
getting home wasn't too bad. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a shuttle but that wasn't terrible.
But the Metallica show sounded like shit. I don't know if it was being up in the 500s, Metallica playing in the round, the ceiling at Sofi or if Sofi is just terrible for concerts but it really sounded bad. It was like listening to the same song playing 4 times at once each now delayed than the other. I've been to plenty of stadium shows so I wasn't expecting pristine sound but this was horrible.

Did you have ada parking? And also, you shouldve pulled the ada card which I suggest doing for tonight. That can put you either on the 400's cause theres wheelchair accesible seats or maybe even lower. I mean I doubt theyll pop you down onto the field level ada but it doesnt hurt to ask.
The show did indeed sound like utter shit. Its actually the sound crew and partially the band. Theyve been having this issue the whole tour. The set up is not that ideal and the pa they are even using isnt that good. I checked to see how taylor seift sounded in there and it was perfectly fine. And she has like a 8 piece band or something so its not as if its a backing track and nothing else. Even Ed Sheeeran who has a 360 set up sounds better and they have the pa set up much better so that you could hear it fine. Zero excuses for a 4 piece to sound like that. And supposedly it sounds better night 2 cause their sound crew figured out the acoustics. They should be good enough to figure it out night 1. U2 360 sounded incredible and that was almost 15 years ago so I dont know what lessons these people dont take from that when creating a show in the round. If you went to Powertrip its probably going to sound crystal clear since theyll have the Coachella sound system and that thing purrs like a kitten.
Fyi Madonna update. Apparently the presales are tuesday for cancelled ticket holders. And theyre supposed to email you a code. And you should have received your refund or at worst tomorrow since thats what they promised.

I parked at Civic Center and took the shuttle. It's almost as expensive as just parking on site but at least it's easier to get out of Sofi. I didn't do ada since I had a seat and since I'm taking the kid I don't think we can do ada since there's 3 of us. I think tonight it would be better to just stand in the area behind the 200s since from what I could tell, the PAs were pointing straight ahead instead of angling upwards. The sound design for this show is just terrible!

Never know, just ask. And metallica wants to make you feel like youre listening to St Anger for 2 hours.
The other thing is that theyre cheap asses for not using the Oculus. I guess its $100k to use it for a show. Wouldve enhanced the show for everyone up top. I doubt anyone would notice if the ticket price went up a dollar or 2 so that could happen.

Jesus. As someone who's seeing Beyonce there in exactly 1 week... what are your secrets/tips?
Leave during the last song and book it to your car. There’s also free parking on Picay by the baseball field if you get there early enough. Whip a U Turn at the light with the gated neighborhood on the left hand side. That also puts you out of the stadium heading back towards the freeways.
leave early! I thought the civic center shuttle saved a little time too, the main issue was just traffic everywhere.
I think I'd die if I left Beyonce early, so maybe we'll just bring some fun activities for the car and wait it out lol.
I meant leave San Diego early lol. I didn't think getting out off Sofi was all that bad but I think it was the shuttle that helped. We only waited 30 minutes for the shuttle and then it was a quick 15 minute ride to the parking lot.

Oh LOL! We'll be staying in downtown LA for the weekend
Any tips for getting to/from dodger stadium? We're going to the game Sunday

in that case you'll be fine! I would still Uber to the shuttle instead of dealing with anything on site though.
If you're parking at dodger stadium expect a really long time getting out of the parking lot. It took us like 2 hours to leave after Elton John. I don't have any recent experience with baseball games though.
Anyone received an email for Jai Paul LA shows ticket sale yet?
Nothing here, nor have any of my friends who I had enter for me. As a backup, I bought 2 tickets to the SF show via the Portola presale. Codes were unique and only sent to those who purchased Portola tickets directly from the festival. Tickets were still available 30+ minutes after that presale started. Weirdly, there was no disclaimer about non-transferability like the LA shows say.

Take the Stadium Express. Its the shuttle from Union Station to the staidum. Its free. And obviously if you leave the game early youll have no trouble getting out of there fast. Why pay to park.
Metallica last night was marginally better with sound. Better on the 200 level but still not optimal. Lars' drum mix is utter butt. And those cushy seats are nice at sofi. Hard to have to go back to the plastic ones with nose space upstairs.

Thank you! Doing this for sure! Especially since I have a Padres license plate holder and will be taking 2 braves fans with me
They couldn't sell out the Jai Paul Mayan shows today - both have about 600 tickets left - so they sent out invites to practically everybody who registered for a second round of sales that starts tomorrow. What a joke. The entire purpose of this AXS Fair non-transferable blah blah system is that the shows are such high demand that they need to deter scalpers, when in reality, these shows have so little demand they are struggling to sell them out.
