They’re actually using the screens/stage more now. Im still enjoying it because I don’t mind their music but ya. When I think of some of the subs they’ve had in recent history, this just isn’t on that level.
"This not catchy band is opening for Beyonce at Coachella, my dude." Sounds like exactly what you were saying.
You said they weren't catchy. They objectively must be catchy. They are second on their day at the biggest music festival in the U.S. You're obviously wrong about that, which says nothing about what I think about the quality of their music.
I also to happen to think some of it's pretty good, but I wasn't even commenting on that before. I certainly wasn't saying that their popularity in fact makes them good.
I love that this is on YouTube. It's super convenient. I enjoy watching these streams on my TV. I'm gonna be hella annoyed when Bonnaroo does their streaming through some website on the dark web.
I really dig Alvvays. But at the same time, I could go without ever seeing them
I saw them in a small venue a few months ago. It was actually a great show. Their Coachella stream was a little underwhelming in comparison.
I had the chance to last fall, and I kinda wish I would've went. But yeah the stream made me feel not so bad about it. It's probably more of a you have to be there kinda thing

Yeah pretty much. They also had slightly more charisma when I saw them. Also being in a small room with enthusiastic fans helps

It’s literally the same argument I meme’d you for just rephrased lmao. I wouldn’t consider Radiohead “catchy”.
I just don't understand what people even find entertaining about Post Malone especially in a live setting. Like how does everyone just not fall asleep from boredom?

a lot of it is that people only know pop acts like him and are the primary reason to get to a fest, i bet lots of people there would enjoy someone like david byrne if you dragged them along to a club show but post malone is sunk cost even if he sucks once you're there.
