Okay Snakehips is too cheese for me. Not sure what I'm going to do after Muse at Bonnaroo.
I’m honestly feeling really good about the superjam.
Virtual Self is a can't miss for me though. Might still catch some of superjam. I still have an hour gap after Muse. Guess that'll just be recharge time. Or I'll give Bassnectar a chance.

Yeah my plan is superjam, and then, if I’m not feeling insanely pulled in closer to 2, head to Virtual Self.

I do honestly wish Tyler had some live instruments for this performance. Especially after Brockhampton. This show just kinda comes off awkward on the mainstage. Still love him though

Okay now Tyler is criticizing his own show hahaha
yeah this is a good show but given he'll probably conflict with qotsa and arctic monkeys at the fests im going to, ill be skipping him at both. saw him last year though and he was amazing, i do think he'd be much better with a live band.

Tyler’s fine but Tash Sultana has been givin me the feels for a half hour now.
Really, I feel like no one is watching Tash. I said this in the chat, but I've seen people hate on her just cause she loops, but I don't get it. She's really impressive, and this show is very atmospheric and enjoyable. Getting more and more bummed I have to miss her at Roo, assuming scheduling stays the same.
Now I feel awkward for hyping him up after I saw him a month ago. Without crowd participation his show just comes off awkward. His Panorama set is better than this.

This..seems he needs the crowd to b in on his schtick...

Looping is extremely difficult. I do a lot of it when I perform and it's like operating in a very stressful, small, and sweaty workspace. One slight fuckup and the whole song is ruined. It's really no different than the type of workspace LCD Soundsystem works in and I'd argue it's even harder than that.

I feel like that's the issue when you're on the same stage as someone as big as Beyonce. You have a lot of diehards who couldn't care less about you.

And she's got a ton of pedals at her feet that she quickly clicks several super fast several times in a single song just to switch to different guitar tones and whatnot, and it's always timed just right.
