UPCOMING SHOWS 5/14 - Neil Young & Crazy Horse @ Forest Hills 6/8 and maybe 6/9 - Governors Ball 8/17 - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard @ Forest Hills 9/4 - Pearl Jam @ MSG 9/7 - Pearl Jam @ Wells Fargo Center 9/11 - St. Vincent @ Brooklyn Paramount
That's my section and row on 8/11! SEAT BUDDIES!!!
Glad you got in.
Haha nice! Be sure to leave me a nice note under the seat before you leave.
At first I was bummed that I didn't get GA tickets, and then it occurred to me that the floor at a Rage show is probably way too much mayhem for me.
Yep, I never aspired to be on the floor for this show, hehe. I remember seeing RATM open for U2 in Vegas in 1997... there were chairs strewn ALL over the place near the stage after RATM's set, it delayed U2 because the venue had to reset all the chairs again, lol. (this was before GA came back into favor).

So now that most of us scored tix to RATM, how tough it will be to get tix for PJ fan exchange? is there an specific time on the 18th?
I don't know if the fan-to-fan exchange is even going to be a thing for the MSG show, given that we're one of the lucky two markets where scalping these suckers is allowable by law.
I may try for fan-to-fan tix to the Baltimore show, if those are available. Otherwise, it's crossing my fingers and hoping StubHub prices for MSG drop by at least two-thirds, which I'm going to guess isn't insanely likely.

Nick Cave tickets are refreshingly reasonable, even cheap, for the Barclays show - $99 top for prime seats, $79-$59 for other lowers, $19.50-$39.50 for uppers. Actually not sure what the Floor costs... Picked up a good lower on AMEX presale this morning.

I paid $105 including fees and shipping. Two years ago, it costed me $130 for the floor at Barclays, so this is definitely nicer.

Anyone know if Ticketmaster eventually drops the Platinum tag (and if so, when) for shows or if it sticks through the sale period? I ask because I'm trying to get into this MCR Barclays show but obviously not at $500+, and wanna get a jump on tix when/if they come off this Platinum craziness

You may need to Uber or Taxi it from the train station since it's about a half hour walk from station to the area the venue is. If you get in early/don't mind walking then you should be fine.
Also, keep in mind the schedules around the time of the show as I know that construction work is limiting a lot of trains on some weekends so you want to make sure you don't get screwed on a specific day.
But overall it doesn't seem too bad. Just a hassle getting to and from the train station.

Yes, that was a refreshingly non-traumatic arena show purchase for the first time in...so, so long.

They used to run a shuttle from the train station but not sure if they still do that. Uber ride is usually only $10 or so. Just recommend watching the train schedule as sometimes it's a choice between missing the last song and making an 11:10 train or waiting until 12:45 which can be brutal on a weeknight.
