Not thrilled that all of the shows are at KDC but better than nothing. Could be fun to do LCD and then Basement on a friday or saturday depending on the lineup.
Gonna hold out as I'm not sure what night I'll be free to go to LCD. I imagine the weeknight shows will be easy to get into second hand.
Pretty sure there were weeknight shows last year that didn't even sell out. It did seem like it was more difficult to find below face value tickets last year compared to the year before. I think AXS made it so you couldn't resell for below face value on their platform last year where in 2022 there were pretty cheap tickets day of being sold.

Floating Points insta sold out, managed to get 8 for myself and my friends, only $28 a pop. Bet he adds a Saturday show
Totally forgot about this presale. Way too used to being texted about presales before they start. The dice app is showing sold out but was able to get one through the link in the email still.
Edit: looks like they are back on sale on the app now too.

Hell yea, weird app. See you there! Happy it's so cheap, feels like 2010 in here
going to Caribou on 11/21 and LCD Soundsystem 11/23 if anyone wants to meet up!
Also how are Avant Gardener and Knockdown Center? never been to either
I will be at both of those shows!
I've never been to AG. Knockdown is decent. It's big and has kind of a warehouse feel. Crowd area for shows is much longer than it is wide. The sound used to be rough, but they did a pretty big upgrade and now it is solid - not as good as BK Steel, but pretty, pretty good for a venue its size. Last year, it was hot as hell during the LCD show I saw there - condensation was dripping off the ceiling. I have heard tell they upgraded their AC, and I hope that's true, but I can't confirm it.
It's fun for the post-show dance parties, though. The building has side rooms and enough space for people to spread out a bit when they're not all focused on the stage.
Biggest annoyance IMO is that Maspeth is out in the middle of nowhere, so it's kind of a pain to get to. But it being in the middle of nowhere means they can also go late like a club rather than being stuck with an 11 PM curfew, so that's a win.

AG sucks big time. The best part is the Mirage because of the screens, but the Great Hall does not really have any redeeming qualities to be honest. Its sad that Caribou is there. Getting in is a process and the security is strict (no gum, eyedrops, etc.), bring your prescription if you have an inhaler or anything. They have water fountains, but bartenders refuse to give out water. The crowd should be good for Caribou at least.
Knockdown is great and personally my favorite venue.
I actually prefer AG to Knockdown due to it being slightly smaller and overall better sightlines. Knockdown has the little wall near the sound board which blocks a good portion of the stage.
