Got through the queue at 12:02 for Monday and it's telling me no tickets are available.
Had the same issue for Tuesday. I logged out of my AXS account and was able to refresh the page a lot easier. Got a pair in 30 seconds. Then logged in to check out. Was a lot smoother.

Well, I got pissed off and just mildly ate shit on Stubhub. I think I payed around twice what the tickets are actually going for, but it was well within the range of what I'm willing to pay to see TVOTR. In for Monday.
Does The Dare still just have a total of 4 songs out? Kinda wild he's been able to maintain this career momentum.
EDIT: Saw he has a full length released this past Friday, didn't see any media buzz about it which is weird considering how desperate NYC media properties are to make like there's still a scene here in the city
i respect the throwback and longing for the lcd soundsystem heyday bit its not done very tastefully
I would like the Dare about 50% more if he varied his vocal delivery *at all*. The entire album is the same talky-talky thing in and throughout every song, and it gets really monotonous after a while. Even on his first record, Jimmy Murph was switching it up and doing some singing along with the talky-talky.
I hope he will find a second note, vocally, in his future endeavors.

Yeah that tends to be my problem. In general, if music has melody I don't tend to mind how trashy it is. It's the same reason I can't get into the talk-y British post-punk bands.

the dare is dumb as fuck, but also being a 27 year old dumbass in new york like harrison, it’s about time we had some dumb fun after covid and trump. no one’s making his album out to be a masterpiece, but its fun as fuck when youre drunk in the east village as i am often

Apparently, someone goofed and accidentally posted a 12/5 Knockdown Center date for LCD Soundsystem on AXS. It's been pulled, but folks on reddit have the screenshot receipts.
Hopefully, this means another residency or run in the city - it'd be pretty odd for them to just do a one-off on a random Thursday. Tix supposedly on sale 9/20, so maybe an announcement on Monday?

friend of a friend mentioned they were cooking up something in the bronx this year which i have no idea where it'd be, but i'm into the idea. if i'm right you heard it here first if i'm wrong i never said this!

Be cool if they did a 5 borough thing (no idea where they'd play in Staten Island though). I'm still waiting for The XX to play Brooklyn so I can claim to have seen them in all 5 boroughs.
