Oh, man. I am so into the idea of this, but the particular lineup they have isn't going to get me there. I hope they do well enough to do another round next year, though.
Do we know where the tickets are sold for Jack White at White Eagle Hall? I really shouldn't (already have 3 shows next week) but might want to give that one a try. (EDIT: nevermind, I signed up for a code).

Headed back to MSG tonight for Cage The Elephant and, for all you fellow NYC concert goers, it's now that time of year to play the "If I had infinite amount of time, money and energy without any responsibilities what would my schedule be for the fall?" I'd aim for the below:

Linkin Park announcing a Barclays show a little over a week in advance is an odd choice. I suppose there is enough hype given their announcement of coming back, new singer and it being only 1 or 2 US dates but I do wonder if they can fill it that quick.

That show will sell out within 5 minutes guaranteed. They were an arena band that has been gone for 7 years. Even if this new album bombs, fans are itching to see them again. Plus the hype of it being just one of two US shows.
They're insinuating that they'll be doing a stadium tour next summer....now THAT seems like a reach. They must really think the new album is good, and/or have some really solid support or co-headliner on the bill.

Ah you're right, looks like the presale is pretty much done. Stadiums.....seems like a bit of a stretch unless they put together a strong package. Linkin Park/My Chemical Romance could do stadiums.

TFW you borrow your brother-in-law's AmEx and put him on call for potential 2FA so you can get TV On the Radio tickets, only for work to explode and you end up missing the presale. Stupid job.

Just hit me up next time, I got an AMEX. Didn't get tickets to this show as I'll be seeing Empire Of The Sun on one of the dates and it's around Thanksgiving but I can always help out a fellow middle-age NYC concert addict.
Also for those of you who are on the fence about the Killers show next Sun (9/15), seems to be a buyers market. They even lowered the face value of the GA floor tickets.

Second stab at TVOTR tix today. Here's hoping Bowery Presents' presale system works this time - I've sometimes never received a code after registering.

Was worried about this. Still nothing for me, guessing they're supposed to be sent an hour before?
