Architects putting themselves in that early AotM-contender seat, goddamn what an absolute mastodon of a record. When you check them out, read up a bit on their recent history cause the sadness and pain of losing the bands guitarist and the drummers twin brother is just drenched in this record.
Reading some of these Muse reviews makes me think I might be missing something. Can someone convince me this isn't garbage?
It's definitely a big step up from 2nd Law or Drones (I know that's damning it with faint praise). Not a record I plan on listening to regularly, but some of these tracks would admittedly be pretty fun live

twins, two people named tim, and a matt singing, they seem like the metal version of the national or something
The wait is over. Earl Sweat’s new album is announced officially. It’s called “some rap songs”, it’s 15 songs, and is dropping November 30th. We eatin.
Didn't dig the Anderson .paak album a whole lot. I appreciate his energy and would like to see him live, but his recorded material just doesn't do it for me.
Mumford was eh. I'm a Mumf fan but I feel like the new album lacked their usual harmonies. It was nice though to see them change their rhythm and pacing up though. I didn't care for Wilder Mind at first though either so this may grow on me.
Excited for Earl, but even more excited for J.I.D dropping on the 26th. It's an odd release date but I'm pretty sure it's going to by my AOTM. If you haven't heard 151 Rum yet you need to get on it. I haven't heard anyone on here other than myself talk about him but I really think he has the potential to be on top of hip-hop in a few years.

I already forgot which song it was, but one of them sounded like they decided to rip off Blue October of all people.
