I should say that if Kanye was booked solo I would be very disappointed if PT failed to nab Push, Cudi, Nas, and 070 Shake. This album release thing he’s been doing deserves to be seen as a whole.

People listen to artists that have murdered people. I always fail to see why people can't listen to Kanye because he supports Trump (newsflash a lot of rich celebrities probably do), but they can listen to Zeppelin when Page dated what a 15 year old? XXX, the kid that laughed and bragged about almost killing a gay man and has multiple videos on the internet showing repeated patterns of abuse to not just his friends but his girlfriend as well.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Kendrick and think that was a dumb choice, but I would never support XXX because he’s an ACTUAL bad person.

I still support Kendrick and Kanye because they’re just making stupid choices. They aren’t violent criminals. People gotta pick the battles that matter.

My question isn't "why cant you separate Kanye as a person, from Kanye's music", it is "Why do you think someone supporting Trump is worse than someone having sex with minors/murdering people?". I just find it weird that people pick and choose when there are artists that are not only more talented/make better music than Kanye, but they are worse people. And even then they still get a pass over him?

Also yes Kanye's music is personal, but him rapping about his wife and mental health issues has zero MAGA tie ins whatsoever so its not like that side of Kanye influences the project much.

Kanye's politics are - at the highest - third on my list of why I don't want to see him behind: 1. He's put out the two worst albums of his career back to back and 2. Seemingly still seems mentally unstable and I don't want to see some festival use him as a prop to get headlines until he's right
