Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Based on the EF lineup, it seems like they could have easily booked Cut Copy and/or Bonobo, but instead went with Chromeo and Glitch Mob.
Chromeo are fine. I saw them at Lolla 08. But they're literally everywhere. I skipped them in 2014 to go back to camp and eat.
I also was at Glitch Mob for like two minutes in 14 before getting bored. Which was cool, because then we went to Darkside!
Chromeo is far from the problem with this lineup though. I saw them back to back with Cut Copy at Roo 2014 and thought their show was the better of the two.
Although I'm a little jaded by that Cut Copy show. I left 3/4 of the way through to see the end of James Blake, where I instantly realized Cut Copy was the wrong choice in that conflict.
Cut Copy would be such a big add, i was holding out hope with the rumors and confirmations thread. Seem like an act that could be in that late addition pool, but not getting my hopes up
Yeah just let it go. Don't let it turn into the Grimes of 2016 kind of false hope we all had.

I mean, I don't have a problem with Chromeo. I'd be down to see them cuz I haven't in awhile (also saw them at FPSF one year, maybe 2010?) I have at least one friend who says they're his favorite live act.
I enjoyed the fuck out of that Cut Copy show in 2014, though. The "flow artists" were out in full force and I had a lot of fun.

What a day that was...
Damon Albarn --> Chromeo --> Cut Copy --> James Blake --> Jack White --> Skrillex Kareoke Party --> Darkside
I did not realize it was Skrillex on Kalliope until watching youtube videos a couple weeks later. I still had energy and my girlfriend passed out but I could hear music going. Thought it was still Kaskade on Which at first. I can't believe I went back to Centeroo at like 6 AM.
If you haven't listened to Westside Gunn + Conway, now is the time to do that.
I'll add Knox Fortune to that.
that's more like chillwave, not really rap
but I'd recommend Topaz Jones as a solid rapper on the list
This lineup is surprisingly deep. I've discovered some great stuff that even gets good buzz around the internet (pitchfork av club cos and the like) that just slipped me by
Also listening to the spotify playlist quite a few great house songs have popped up which i dig

tiny sample, but i started the spotify playlist on shuffle, and the first three songs all started with a slow EDM beat, then a guy who sounds like he is about to cry comes in with breathy vocals about how sad he is about his lover. so not a great start.

I left a couple things out. Actually started with First Aid Kit -> Jihn Butler Trio on the sonic stage. Then after Darkside I went to the end of Kaskade -> Silent Disco until it closed -> Kalliope until sunrise. Think I left right before skrillex.. not that I really care.

What a festival. *rolls tear*
I remember all those Lion King plays keeping me up all morning. Even after
Seasick Steve - Classixx - Cake - Damon Albarn - Lauryn Hill - Jack White - Frank Ocean - Darkside
