It always seemed pretty obvious they weren’t too concerned about short term profitability.
It's the Movie Pass of festivals. Always kind of seemed like a broken business model. "We're going to book a crazy expensive lineup into a small venue in Texas right before Christmas" sounds like it was always kind of doomed. What was the "long-term" profitability plan - either boosting capacity by 3x or charging $500-600 for a GA?
Intending to attempt a revival of an already beaten to death, rotting horse, it's odd that whoever has access to the Instagram has posted randomly twice - as early as 20 hours ago - since the "Creditors" announcement on Facebook.
This is more of a sad eulogizing note that the 2017 lineup was dropped on September 21st last year. May the year of 2018 rest in pieces.
