Also that now-deleted twitter response from their manager is so fucking shitty, and makes me think that's probably how a lot of the group thinks as well.
It's funny because Ameer admitted to his own mistakes/abuse and now this dude is trying to say nothing ever happend? I know he's trying to cover up his buddy but this certainly isn't the right way to do so.
Their Twitter stans are literal children, it's discusting how they act underneath every post of the members. So toxic.
They should release alternate covers for the albums he was on the cover of. Those clips of their BC set looked cringey as hell and its definitely for the best that they made this decision. Now they can move forward without him, which will be weird at first, but years from now we’ll be so used to it that all of this will be a “rememeber when...” type thing. Like how Brandon DeShay used to be in OFWGKTA until Tyler kicked him out (except obviously this is for way more serious reasons.)

I just hope this was the group's decision based on knowing more information than the general public does, not just because of pressure from the label and twitter.
What’s funny some of you are so quick to forgive people like James Franco, Chris Brown, 6ix9ine, xxxtentacion, trippie redd and Johnny Depp but when someone sincerely apologised for his feelings and has been from day 1 informing us that he has had a shit past and done bad things
You all wanna jump on him and split what could have been one of the most inspirational and amazing groups of the year, BH will never be the same without ameer his story telling on the albums was amazing it brought raw energy and now you’ve all just gone and ruined it for everyone

i used to do a lot of dumb shit. things I'm not proud of. I've made a lot of mistakes in my short life some of which I'm still dealing with. This photo is a low point in my life. I am remarkably lucky to even be able to type this now. I'm grateful for everyday I wake up outside of a system set in place for me and many others like me. I'm also grateful to you and anyone else who listens and pays attention to what my friends and I are doing. People tell me everyday that I saved their life, well now you know i was only returning the favor. s/o to Ian and all my friends in bh. they stuck by me in this time even though I know I was in a dark place and was hard to deal with.
Never understood the “twitter Stan” argument. Twitter did not make Ameer’s actions worse. Ameer was acting on his own behalf and people on Twitter are not the reason he got kicked out. It does suck to see such a pivotal member of the group leave, especially when he did seem to genuinely care about becoming a better person but his own actions have landed him here. And no amount of “twitter stans” change that

This isn't a good argument. Someone just claiming that EVERYONE who is against this particular case ALSO are okay with the random collection of artists mentioned (with varying degrees of accusation against them) is just so silly. It's not like a real point is being made here. It's just someone vaguely calling other people he's never met hypocrites for something he can't honestly know much about.
The topic of "who do you write off" or "when do you completely separate artist from the person/accusations/whatever" is a tough one. I dislike some of the names listed for some of the things they're accused of but am I going to act like I threw away my Beatles and Jimi Hendrix albums after learning about their issues with/attacks on women and toxic relationships? Probably not. But if the main point here is "Look at how many upvotes this got" as if it's some deep, meaningful point then I'll just laugh and keep going about my business.

Also, Chris Brown is a complete piece of shit.
Yeah, I agree. I quoted that more in a way that there is a big amount of people agreeing with this that Ameer also should get a second chance when those mentioned above clearly got one since they're still in the music business. It's like the fanbase is totally divided and it's honestly the worst lol.
I honestly think the fans blew it up themselves. I follow a pretty amount of music blogs and didn't see much coverage about it until they actually kicked him out. I feel like people made a bigger deal out of it then it actually was. Ofcourse that doesn't take away the things he has possibly done but I don't understand how this is shocking so many people when his verses are most all about it? How can you be a fan and not know about Bank, Milk, Johnny, Bleach and countless others and what he raps about.
The thing is, none of us can really know the full extent of what he did, as well as what the band knew/know now. We don't even know if he's genuinely gotten better or not. Only the people involved know. The band kicked him out and specifically said "we were lied to" so we have to take that at face value. Also their whole brand is being progressive and one of their most popular lyrics is about respecting women, especially sexually. I feel that you can't really have an abuser as one of the main faces of that.

This is pretty much the most reasonable response to have

I don't get all this. I don't know all of it but I'm confused from what I've seen. Maybe they're trying to figure it out, too. That would make sense. They blew up very fast and they seem to be unsure of what to do. Not the first time this has happened, I don't guess.

Still have a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth from the Ameer debacle, but I've enjoyed all three of the singles thus far. Cautiously optimistic they can fully maintain the quality of Sat 2 and 3 on the new album!
I think they are best when they just make bangers or more experimental songs. The only ballads I care for by them are Fight and Teeth, both of which are primarily Ameer. When the others get more vulnerable it sound a little corny to me

I was trying to think of what song 1999 WILDFIRE reminds me of, specially around the 2:45 mark, and realized it's the Thong Song by Sisqo. Then I realized that song was released in 1999. Is there any cohesive theme like that with these singles?
