Yeah. They seem pretty cool. We watched them earlier this year.
Yo Mad Dog, it got preempted by livexlive but I think this might be legit as fuck. I’m a minute in. Bruford is my all time #1 rock hero, so even 3 drummers even with Pat Mastelotto, it misses him. Yet damn.
Mikaela Davis (harp player who plays often with Bob Weir and is from Rochester, NY!) on now opening for Marco Benevento from JRAD which is always a dance party.

Free Disco Biscuits show as always tonight from Orlando. It’s just getting started. Assume 70ish minutes then a 40 minute break and probably another 90 or so.
edit: Biscuits will also be free live streaming their concerts tonight from St. Petersburg (Jannus Landing), tomorrow and Saturday from Fort Lauderdale (Revolution).
Buffalo FM is streaming night one of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at Town Ballroom in Buffalo. Likely easiest to find on their Facebook page. I’ll be at tomorrow nights show.

Lots of folks are doing sporadic instagram live stuff-The War on Drugs are gonna be playing rough mixes of recorded but not-released music there in about 30 minutes.
Courtney Barnett & Lucius and friends (including Sharon Van Etten) will be streaming some live sessions starting tomorrow...Here's the details from Barnett's Instagram:
This Sunday March 22, 3pm PST/10pm GMT/ & Monday 9am AEST, I’ll be singing with my friends @ilovelucius (via Instagram Live) n some special virtual guests Sheryl Crow, Nathaniel Rateliff, Lukas Nelson, Fred Armisen, Emily King, Sharon Van Etten, Bedouine, Jonathan Wilson, Waxahatchee, Kevin Morby & more surprises in store.. We’re asking for donations to Oxfam’s Covid-19 Relief Fund. The fund supports their work around the world which is increasing the delivery of soap, clean water, and other sanitation services to refugees and people living in higher-risk environments. Their teams are on the ground now, providing advice and support tailored to local languages and customs, and scaling up this work as the pandemic continues to spread.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Tomorrow night (and every Tuesday for a while), Phish proudly presents Dinner And A Movie: An Archival Video Series. We’ll be airing a full show in its entirety for free beginning at 8:30 pm ET at webcast.livephish.com or Phish’s Facebook page. First up is Phish’s show from August 31, 2012 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.
As for the Dinner part of the evening, cook along with us! You can find a recipe for Sue & Trey Anastasio’s “Between Me and My Mouth” Vegetarian Chili below. Please don’t feel the need to take a special trip to buy groceries to make this, and be smart regarding social distancing and staying at home. Feel free to post photos of your version of this dish, or share whatever you’re making. Tag us at #phishdinnerandamovie. We’ll post a different recipe every week.
In addition, we’ll select a non-profit doing important work right now, and all donations made via The WaterWheel Foundation that day will be given to that organization. You can donate any time at dry.gd/wwf. We have selected WhyHunger as our beneficiary for this webcast. WhyHunger provides critical resources to support grassroots movements and fuel community solutions rooted in social, environmental, racial and economic justice. During the COVID-19 crisis, it’s essential to protect food access for all people, especially those who are most vulnerable. For information about their organization, click here.
Stay safe!
Sue & Trey’s “Between Me and My Mouth” Vegetarian Chili Serves 4-6
Ingredients 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 onion chopped 3 cloves garlic minced 1 carrot peeled and chopped 1 celery stalk chopped 1 red pepper chopped 1 yellow pepper chopped 1 jalapeño diced, seeds removed 3 15 oz. cans diced tomatoes 2 15 oz. cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 2 15 oz. cans black beans, rinsed and drained 2 cups water 1 1/2 tablespoons cumin 2 tablespoons chili powder Salt and pepper to taste Shredded cheese (cheddar or jack)
Instructions In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook until light brown, about 2-3 minutes. Add carrot, celery, peppers, and jalapeño. Cook for five minutes, or until vegetables are soft.
Stir in diced tomatoes, beans, and water. Season chili with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and let chili simmer for 30 minutes. Stir chili frequently so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Serve hot. Shred cheese on top. Serve with chips or cornbread. This chili also freezes beautifully.
August 31, 2012 setlist. Will spoiler for anyone who wants to experience it fresh but this was a HUGE show:
PHISH, FRIDAY 08/31/2012 DICK'S SPORTING GOODS PARK Commerce City, CO Soundcheck: Dog Log, Blues Jam, Ginseng Sullivan, Friday
SET 1: First Tube, Uncle Pen, Carini > Kill Devil Falls, You Enjoy Myself[1], Ocelot, Undermind
SET 2: Runaway Jim[2] > Farmhouse > Alaska, Chalk Dust Torture[2] > Emotional Rescue > Fuck Your Face
ENCORE: Grind, Meatstick
[1] "We all love Dick's" vocal jam theme. [2] Unfinished.
This show was webcast via LivePhish. The first letters of the songs of this show spelled out "Fuck Your Face" before Fuck Your Face itself was played. Before You Enjoy Myself, Page said "We are so happy to be back in this place, thank you guys so much. We love Dick's, we do." The crowd responded by chanting "We love Dick's." The You Enjoy Myself vocal jam was based around a "We Love Dick's" theme with different band members' names inserted. Ocelot included a Crosseyed and Painless tease. Prior to the second set, Trey wished Matty from the Waterwheel table a happy birthday. Runaway Jim and Chalk Dust were unfinished. Emotional Rescue was played for the first time since September 30, 2000 (236 shows). Fuck Your Face contained an Emotional Rescue quote.
Daaaaamn I assume there isn’t a way to watch back JB now?
What’s the best way to stay attuned to what‘ll be broadcasted when? Just checking fave artists’ pages regularly?
You can still watch the whole stream on his page I think. Instagram stores it for 24 hours after going live, so I think you have until about 3pm EST to rewatch it!
