I certainly won’t but I see this selling fine. Mt Joy is beloved by late 20s early 30s Scott’s Addition/West End types, CAAMP probably falls under the same umbrella

5 shows at VACU live will be available as part of the concert week $25 all-in deal
Definitely a lighter year on their schedule. I wonder if the new amphitheater will kill it once it's opened
I think that’s a likely outcome. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has never had a fun time trying to leave a show from VACU. It’d be nice for it to hold onto a niche for large scale metal and country shows though

I'm also wondering what will happen with Brown's Island shows. The majority of those seem too small for the new amphitheater.

As they should, BRRF has been a fucking cancer since their inception. 19 was the only year I tried it and it was a fucking train wreck then, amazed they conned people two more times.

I imagine they were having problems booking any sort of lineup given the past few years, honestly. I realize it’s about “getting straight with insurance over last year” but it’s not like they gave any sort of shit about anything really. It’s like they/he/idk anything about who owns it just wanted to watch some bands play and logistics weren’t even a thought past “you know what would be cool?!?”.
My heart goes out to anyone who thinks that’s how a festival should work. My brother went a few years ago and swore he’d never return. That says a lot to me.

100% the dude who booked it was either into it solely to see what bands he could book/for clout or he's just a total grifter only interested in cashing out, both seem likely lol word on the street is apparently he's a real shady guy and tried to "sell" the fest to another company he, or some friends of his, owned.
100+ bands with 20 minute sets just don't appeal to me, no matter the lineup.

he definitely gave off used car salesman vibes from day 1. Sad thing is that he was actually able to put together some really strong lineups (given the genre constraints), market the festival well, & have some pretty cool ideas like the on site club experience. Just needed people to do the logistics. I
