U2 was phenomenal. We were on the left side and during the encore the Roochute showed up. Shit was so fun. Felt like a kid again.
haha had a similar roo chute experience.
Portugal was way better than they were at Shaky even though it was a similar setlist
Can't decide if Portugal or U2 were better but it was one of the best consecutive fest shows I've seen. Just found out that was Matt Shultz from Cage the Elephant that sang Don't Look Back In Anger and Another Brick In The Wall with them.

Me either! But it was my favorite back to back I've had at a fest. And when John was thanking Cage I couldn't decide if he was taking a jab at them or what, I didn't even know Matt was there until this morning
The three sets mentioned have been my favorite sets they streamed. Red Hots are up there too, and I still need to see Cage. Looking forward to Umphrey's today (hope it's the overnight set, but it's liable to be the Sunday set), Flatbush Zombies and badbadnotgood.
Here are a couple of items from the news. First is a link with clips to Chance playing the Superjam (looks like a party), and covering Hey Ya and Nothing But a G Thang
I got fucked up and totally dismissed all that's right with music and all that I believe in by going to Marshmello after the Superjam (plus my feet are blistered the fuck up & other was much closer than that) over Umphreys and am going to forever regret it. Sigh..
At least it wasn't as bad as people say, until he played a papa roach song, during which I tried to leave asap to make it to umph, only to limp up to an empty tent.
Luckily you have a shot at redemption. It won't be the greatness of a late night set but kid 2 just called me from the pit saying it completely rules. Can't wait for the show to come on though Royal Blood is getting down for now.

Only bad decision I've made this weekend.

We all make mistakes when we're young.
My feet hurt and I skipped LCD for something like Kid Cudi at my first Bonnaroo. We live and learn.

If you missed Backup Planet on the farm I truly am sorry for you. There version of Whipping Post is stuff legends are made of. They played 4 times on the farm with only one "set" scheduled including an epic 1-4 a.m. set Saturday night.
