I'm excited to see the setlist from the first show. I'm venturing to guess it's Dark Side heavy (themed?), which would be amaze balls.
Yea, I actually appreciated him saying in interviews it'll be basically 75% old stuff and 25% new stuff. I'm still not sure whether to try for Nassau Coliseum or Barclay's but I definitely want to try for a few tix tomorrow
Mad at the Wells Fargo website. I went to get Kanye and Waters tickets at the same time and it wouldn't let me do both. Only got Kanye; the only Waters tickets left would be 200 for a pair. Don't know that I want to do that.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Okay, finally got through. Was able to get two upper level seats for Nassau Coliseum on the added show (Saturday = easier + more time before show). Should be awesome. I didn't really care where I was sitting since I didn't want to pay $200+ for floor or lower level stuff.
Honestly, as long as I hear Shine On You Crazy Diamond, he could just tap dance around the stage to the Grease soundtrack the rest of the time and I'd be perfectly content. That is my #1 song that I hope he plays. It has a lot of sentimental meaning to me and hearing it live by [one of] the people who wrote it is really on top of my bucket list. It's like hearing Paul sing Hey Jude or Let It Be. I'll be in tears, I already know it.
It's only now just hitting me how far away this show is. I have to wait 11 months for it. Still worth it.
Yea, It's almost as bad as when Adele tickets went on sale a year before the show. But at least with that I knew I'd still be in Austin. With this I'm winging it and hoping that I'll be in Columbus....
Roger had a wounded war vet play the Shine solo at Desert Trip and it was the most epic shit I've ever seen. He nailed it note for note!! Roger was visibly emotional.
So, I found out last week that Roger Waters is playing Tampa on July 11th. Which, coincidentally, is the day after Paul McCartney is playing the same arena (which I bought tickets to). Therefore, I'll be seeing Roger Waters in Tampa now as well.
Anyone else going to the Tampa show? Anyone else been to Amalie Arena and can tell me how steep the nosebleeds are? I have floor seats for th Columbus show, so I'm willing to get cheaper seats for this show, but I can't do heights. Probably going to go back-lower Bowl if it's not too cheap. Tickets are still available, but I'm going to see if anything on StubHub is cheaper right now.

I'll be at the show. Nosebleeds are steep wherever you are but Amalie is not bad at all compared to other venues as far as height, and steepness. Not a bad seat in the house for viewing but you obviously feel less crowd energy towards the top.

Yea, that's true. And even tho his sets are best seen from afar, I think nosebleeds would be too far to really appreciate it.
I'm hoping I find something cheap. With as much is I've already spent on RW in Columbus the following week & the price of my MACCA tickets, I really need to reign in the concerts spending.

I've been to Amalie for a bolts game and can say the nose bleeds are steeper at nationwide. So if you can do nationwide you'll have no problem at Amalie. I do think Amalie nosebleeds are higher though.
Roger water is rolling through Phx when I would usually be at bonnaroo. Instead of spending money on that this year, I just pick up some floor seats for Roger Waters. Pretty excited.

Luckily I've got Maiden to help me pass the month between Roo and Roger for me.

So this starts in two days. I'm gonna be at the Sunday show. Couldn't help myself and peeked at the Dress Rehearsal setlist. Looks awesome. One or two songs I wish were played but otherwise its everything I could ask for. Very excited.

Same thoughts about rehearsal setlist- would like to hear Mother, Run the Hell or In the flesh but for the most part- thrilled.
I don't see him until Nashville in August. If the opening song remains the same into August, I will lose my shizz when it starts.
May Tycho May Phoenix June Rooo July MMJ and Margo Price August Queen with Adam Lambert August Roger Waters (Bucket list #1) August Spoon and Portugal the man Sept Depeche Mode Sept Pilgrimage Fest
I'm excited to hear everyone's thoughts as the shows start! I'm assuming with a production as large as he's known for means that he doesn't really change up the setlist much, right?
