Nice to see them going back to some live acts again with this fall's lineup (so far). I haven't been to CRSSD in a couple years but might have to go for this one.
I also snagged a pair of alumni passes. Glad they honored the first one since I haven't gone the last few years.
Same. Seems like passes are selling faster than usual. They jumped up to tier 5 within the first couple of hours. I wonder if that means they spend less on the second phase of the lineup.
The most predictable lineup every year: One alt-rock act, a bunch of borderline edm acts that appeal to San Diego greek life kids, a bunch of neon garden acts, and then like 2 actually really good djs that dont play the states a bunch like Objekt on this one or DJ Nobu on the one before or Palms trax on the one before that.
I think you’re underrating it. Hot Chip, Kaytranada, Polo & Pan, friendly fires, ross from friends, yaeji, hawtin, objekt, Dr Rubenstein(!!!!), and 999999999 is a pretty great grouping of acts.
Or maybe I’m just underrating what San Diego frat bros like.

Yea I have only gone to one in the past and that was for cirez d, but this lineup is the first one that got me really excited. There is some great stuff on here from the live genre to house and that dark tasty techno.
