This is not a good area. The food is indeed next level though.
Good area in terms of festival proximity. I stayed with my friend in Little Havana two years ago, it was fine. Bad areas like Wynwood, but just be aware of your surroundings and it'll be fine.

I was always told LH is sketchy but East LH is where to avoid. I really don’t know Miami anymore but I took this to heart. It’s closer to East Coral Gables though, so we went on and took it.
Plus, I’m with my wife. I realized on the first date that she could take me in a fight in under 5 minutes, we should be okay.

I’m guessing Ultra in this case? They played Ultra a bit years ago, but not sure how well they fit with modern Ultra. Ultra did book Underworld and The Prodigy recently, but not sure how well attended those sets were.

hmmm hope they play Coachella too then.
Ultra tends to snag those type of acts as exclusives in their year, so hopefully Orbital is at Coachella rather than Ultra.
There's lots of Ultra to dislike, but that Mega Structure is pretty damn impressive.
Oh I agree they get some amazing talent and have incredible production value. But no one they book would be worth me having to deal with the type of crowd that festival pulls imo.

Agreed there. Went in 2013, waaaaay too crowded for the relatively tiny venue they use. Plus it's a whopping $500 now.
