hey folks, for anyone who may know or have any idea, what is the difference between Nico's saturday show and his "dj set" on Sunday?
Jaar's live set is pretty much all his music, mainly music from his albums and EPs with live edits and sections of drone if he's feeling risky. His DJ set, while it may include his own music, includes other artists' music mixed together. When he played a DJ set for III Points in 2015, he mixed a lot of soul, techno and house together. Both are great.

Jeez do I really have to stay out til 3:45 to see Richie Hawtin? King v. Thundercat sucks too, but I'll go with King since I saw Thundercat at Coachella.

I'm kind of glad I didn't take off work, as I'm starting with Thundercat at 8:30...Also I might as well ask in here too...Any of you guys going to Hulaween or know anybody that is, and is selling a Car Camping Pass? Son of a bitch. They did it again, put the best techno acts in the very latest spots in Main Frame, lol. That was one of my biggest gripes last year as my old ass wasnt able to conserve enough energy to stick around and see them.
But I get it, it makes sense (I guess). Stupid young kids and their upper drugs.
