Hey y'all from BONNAROOOO. So last night was insane, we went to the Christmas barn after the last show and as I was walking in I recognized a member of one of the artists from OBH going into the artist entrance and I said hey to him and he let me and my friends come in with his crew. When we got in we got to talking about how awesome OBH was and then he said they are 100% moving it to the Dominican Republic next year. So, let's see!

There are 2 four night blocks of rooms at the Hard Rock in the DR. Feb 24-27 and March 2-5. This would be later than previous OBHs, but would make sense considering the probable NYE run in Denver.

WOOHOO! I was on cloud nine after seeing this yesterday. I'll be there I can't wait for on-sale so I can officially officially say I'll be there. I wish it hadn't moved, but at least it's a new country for me!

I'm not sure how the resorts compare to one another, but the Dominican Republic is fun as hell. Dominicans know how to have a good time.
The biggest differences are that it is A LOT bigger (like a couple thousand more people), and is on the beach instead of the lagoon. Both of which are widely considered to be negative changes. The beach is negative because it's a lot harder to dance on the sand. Also, it's more expensive to fly to- it's especially expensive and annoying for those on the west coast.

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
How expensive is this usually? Thinking about pulling the trigger with some friends.
it looks like $1600 person is the starting rate for cabins this year, or 1500 if you go triple occupancy. Plus flights, it comes out to about 2k per person then whatever other stuff like extra days or excursions. But it's all inclusive and you can make payments, you don't have to throw down all that cash at once.

Yeah the only thing I'd add is travel to and from the the airport (although it seems a lot cheaper than Mexico), and a good number of 1s for tips. I went through 20-30 a day personally (never say down to eat to that was basically all booze. Oops)

This lineup is just bonkers. I'm getting married this August and we're going broke paying for that...and I don't know that I can talk my fiancee into putting our honeymoon off until March. But I almost feel like it'd be criminally stupid of us (both MMJ/live music/festival fans) to miss this.
