I could still see them adding an act or two to Sunday. It's really light, especially with the loss of Mavis. Hopefully they'd get something from one of the genres that is severely underrepresented on Sunday
I just realized that Bryson Tiller is listed 18th on the lineup. If you had been holding out hopes for some kind of other addition I'd stop now. He is the large addition.
It's weird because he's listed 14th on Friday, between GRIZ(36) and Blood Orange(41). Bob Moses listing corresponds by day and overall. Going by the overall lineup he should be listed ahead of chainsmokers on the Friday lineup.
I dunno, my roommate who's going who is excited for shit like Sam Hunt and Macklemore didn't know him by name, but when he heard a couple of songs from him he immediately recognized them
Dude has a couple of top 40 hits right now which is def more than Danny Brown can say
He has two songs that received heavy radio play but other than that he doesn't have much to carry him on. Tiller is more similar to Dej Loaf who last year who opened a tent on Thursday. He does not deserve that billing or a late night slot but I guess that's one less schedule conflict that night.
He has had one of the best selling hip/hop albums for about a month or two now. He's pretty damn big to the point where I expect his tent to be quite full.
Saw him live in October and it was easily one of the cheesiest, worst rap sets I've ever seen in my life. The guy spent around 6-9 minutes playing a track of songs along the lines of Smells Like Teen Spirit and just dancing around stage to "pump the crowd up". It was awful. I didn't mind his recorded material when I listened to him before the festival, but I hated having to wait through that set.
Who were you there to see?
XXYYXX, Kodak To Graph, Jay Electronica, King Krule and UMO

Everyone in the comments section on facebook seemed really excited about Bryson Tiller, so yeah..... That sums it up as to why he's getting the spot he got. The molly munching millenial crowd...

They listed two so far... Just list some dang more already. Btw Sang's Mom automatically gets a late night spot
I think we should accept this is it. It's all cafe acts and silent disco from here.
I would find this odd... this would mean that the only two adds would be for a portion of the schedule that represents 10-15% of the total acts... not impossible, but statistically unlikely.
It is more plausible that they had to release these two adds before the others because they are late night and the remaining adds will be part of a later announcement.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

I'm not sure if there's gonna be a tour behind it, but this is pretty fire for a debut mixtape and I'd love to see him get added as a Café act (pun intended):

This week is when they announced the club/cafe stages the last couple of years. We're pretty confident that they were in the initial leak, right?
I don't think so. Swim Deep, a club sized act, has announced they're playing Roo and hasn't been officially announced by Roo. We'll get a solid list of club acts per usual.
Didn't realize they announced club acts around this time last year - excited to see whose on that list. Last year, The Who Stage on Thursday had 2 of my favorite acts from the weekend.

I more meant that there were club level acts that had already been leaked.
I'm sure that they've booked some more since then but I would think that some of the acts that were on the initial leak will turn out to be club acts. It seemed like some of the initial acts had virtually no resume to them.
I hope I'm right because that would necessitate adding some tent/stage acts but my experience with the festival is that they are tone deaf and refuse to make even the most logical of additions. I suppose we'll find out in the next week or so.
Were there any artists on the leak that ended up not being on the lineup? I can only remember circa waves but I think they are in Europe during roo (could be wrong).
