Know there has been some chatter in the upcoming shows thread - but figured it was time to migrate the discussion in here.
I will for sure be at the Charlotte show, and either Raleigh or Bristow. One of my buddies got us all tickets on pre-sale today for Charlotte/Raleigh/Bristow. The Fenway show falls on my 30th birthday - if I don’t do Roo the weekend before I will likely make the trip up for it.
I’m wondering if I should go ahead and get tickets for the Boston show on Friday and just worry about selling them if I need to when the time comes. I know for past tours, resale has been pretty reasonable for shows - but I’m sure there will be some sort of increase with this being the finale. Also, for those who have caught shows at Fenway/Wrigley/Citi Field - any advice on best route to go for ticket location?
Bought tickets with a buddy for the Friday Wrigley show. Let him decide Friday or Saturday night, and kind of glad he chose Friday because Billy Strings is playing Indy Saturday/Sunday night that same weekend, might drive down to see him and see the family too. Going to keep that Indy date for Dead and Co in the back of my mind too

I got the Fenway presale code if you're interested. Grandstand and loge/roof boxes, didn't see field sections. Looks like 161/181. Field tickets aren't gonna be pretty, whatever it is.
Just saw a random post on Facebook that said 6 weekends of shows. No idea if it’s legit. That would be a decent amount of shoes 2 to a weekend. I assume they would wait till after the Mexico show to announce anything.

I had heard shows in May & June so that would make sense
one thing is for sure, the face on these will be eye-watering.
yeah for this summer/fall for me it’s either a festival or this given the time and money
Man, if I could imagine a world in which my wife wouldn't murder me in my sleep for leaving her alone with our toddler while I flit off to Vegas to trip balls inside a giant sphere, I'd be all over this.

Bring the toddler! People love being on acid and seeing kids at shows. It's not unsettling at all.

in my experience, kids love LSD! Its really a wholesome experience for everyone involved. Highly recommend bringing the kiddo

edit: actually i might try to do the May 29, 30, June 1 3-day hotel package. my work conference starts June 2 so i might just frontload this run.
hopped in at on sale time and was 16,792 in the queue and now the queue is "paused" which i've never seen before. glancing at the dead & co subreddit it appears nobody there has successfully purchased a hotel package yet.

Ya system crashed
based on the prices i'm seeing 3 day hotel packages are probably too expensive anyway. back to my plan of just catching one night.
Took about an hour for me to get through the queue. Was thinking of buying a floor ticket package, but it would have come out to about $700/night just for the hotel room.
Decided I'll risk it and hopefully get in through one of the pre-sales.
My friend thought it was so crazy that Dead & Co were playing the Sphere. He was like "do they really have fans like that? Like U2?" Lol yes, dude.
It's a bit complicated. Their most recent tour - which they billed as the farewell tour - sold out with high resale in many markets. The tour a year or two before was an absolute disaster with many cities <50% sold.
My wife is a big Deadhead, but can't stand John Mayer.
We were near the rail for JRAD at The Wiltern and she was grooving. Second set starts and out walks her boy, Mayer. He sat in for the rest of the show - she was fucking livid!
