Not sure if this festival has been posted yet, but has anyone been? Looking to go out of the country between July and the end of August for a festival and this and Melt are my top two choices right now. Open to suggestions as well.

Quack it, I bought a ticket. I'm Swedish and have never been so will take a trip through there and then go to Norway for this. Pulp, PJ Harvey, Big Thief, QOTSA and Wednesday is the perfect start for my taste.

I’ve been to this festival the last 2 years (and in 2019 for the Cure and Aphex Twin). Super convenient to get to by Metro if you have the opportunity to stay in Paris, and it’s always well-curated. Highly recommend.

All adds will be undercard and the 3/4 headliners are announced first, right? Fred/LCD/Massive Attack with Maneskin playing the first night.
EDIT: Someone on efestivals said:
22/08 : Maneskin, The Hives
23/08 : Fred Again, Jungle, Olivia Dean, Soulwax
24/08 : Massive Attack, The Offspring, Blonde Redhead, Inhaler, The Kills

I would think Maneskin is the Thursday headliner, I imagine they are huge in Europe. Sometimes the headliners are not huge internationally – Placebo headlined Friday last year. I would expect some decent sized mid-card to come though, and it is often stuff we don’t see much in the US.

Considering going to this, but have read a lot of mixed reviews about the fest. Lot of people saying it's regularly over-crowded, difficult to get around, and logistic planning is poor. What's your experience been?

yea the site plan is too constrained, taking advanatage of the area to the west would be cool

The headliner is generally over crowded for sure. If you want to get a good spot for the headliner, you probably need to get there about 30-60 minutes early. The main stage field is relatively narrow, and it is hard to work your way up once it’s crowded; going down the left side along the fence usually works better than the right, but it’s not easy.
The second biggest stage is facing the main stage, but it is not super close. Not a big issue until later in the day when it gets crowded, and much of the crowd is going back-and-forth between the two main stages. I’ve never felt it to be overcrowded, except during the headliners.
Lots of beer (and wine) vendors - I have rarely waited long for drinks except at main stage during the headliner. Did have one bad experience during Arctic Monkeys a few years ago - I waited on a beer line for 15-20 min and when I got to the front, the server disappeared. Eventually someone else served me, but I lost a lot of time.
Food is excellent as you’d expect, lines can get long during prime times, but not worse than other fests. Porta potties and troughs could be better located - I’ve rarely waited long, but women’s room lines get long for sure.
It all does seem disorganized at times, but always seems to work out OK. Most people take the Metro to and from the fest, it can get crowded on the way home, but police keep it pretty organized. Metro is 2-3 blocks from festival entrance which is nice. I’ve always been back at my hotel within 45-60 minutes of the end of the festival day.
