It's really not that big of a deal. One for Roo artists and one for any music you want to listen to (which can include artists playing at Roo...it's up to you). The only guideline is this one is only for artists playing at Roo this year. Post in either one you want. If people want to be exposed to music outside of the Bonnaroo lineup they can go to the other thread. There's a "Hip Hop" thread in both sections too, but one is more focused on Bonnaroo this year and the other is more general. Think of it like that.
First, calls The Ex post-rock indie music. Then, he creates another Now Playing thread. Next thing I know, he's going to be at my house kicking my dog.
So, where do I post if I am listening to band that's playing Bonnaroo, but I'm not necessarily listening in the name of research? Like, I know for a fact that I'm gonna listen the hell out of Cloud Nothings new album, and that has nothing to do with them being at Bonnaroo. Sh*t, I got off my flight today and there were 3 Now Playing threads.
i just like the idea of this thread as more of a way to also give some review of what you're listening too if you hear anything that really stands out. also, if you are skimming through and you see a lot of people listening to the same album then it's kinda like a sign that maybe you should check them out. this is specific to roo artists. i still go over to the regular now playing also and see what people are listening too, but this is good to prepare for roo specifically.
Was Listening to this heavily around last years BLAM, hoping he would be there, not realizing he was there in 2012. I'm just glad he is playing again! It is a great album that made me feel the same way as Jeff Buckley's - Grace. Definitely no comparing the two, but it just gets to me the same way.

ZZ Ward time! I've heard only wonderful things and the Women of Inforoo thread taught me how hot she is
I'm lovin her. Listed to the whole album straight through. She's got a voice that kinda reminds me of Adele but she does more bluesy rock. Glad I found her. She'll be a mainstay for me.
