I've got a $20 coupon from StubHub and there are upper level, side stage seats for $64 for the Dallas show tomorrow. May see if I can make it out there.
Well I did it. Officially bought the tickets to see him in Detroit. I am trying to contain my excitement until I am there and he actually walks out onto the stage though. lol I do not want my heart broken again if he cancels for some reason.
Yeah, and I do my fair share of hating (see EDM thread) but seriously, no one is ever going to be right when they are hating on him. Their is no plausible argument that you can insert in calling kanye west a bad musician

People like different things man, just because some people say that a musician is perfect, doesn't mean that they are. Personally I think his music is just boring chr fodder, that's just me though. As praised as the Beatles are (and I love them myself), I know people who can't stand them and find their music uninteresting. Music is subjective.

I know people like different things, but everybody always comes in this thread screaming how horrible his music is, but never back up their aruguement. And there's also a difference between not liking something and saying it's bad.

i think that is the most misunderstood thing on the board, just cuz i said i don't like it doesn't mean i'm saying they suck
The number of people who show up for his show can mean any number of things, including, yes, a decline in popularity. However, irrelevant to me. Two things - Justin Bieber is selling out shows all over the place. And Van Gogh only sold one painting in his lifetime.

Right....but was Van Gogh's life dope and did he do dope sh*t?

“Me and Delacroix are in Rome, giving paintings to Fendi, over and over, and getting our compositions knocked down … [We] brought Starry Night six years ago to Fendi, and they said ‘no.’ How many mother*ckers you done seen painting starry nights?”
Kanye sold out MSG last month. The Knicks don't even sell out MSG. But his star is fading because he didn't sell out Kansas? Nah, I don't buy it.
He actually sold out two straight nights at MSG and the week before he sold out two straight nights at the Barclays in Brooklyn.. I know cuz I tried to get tickets and didnt

Has he sold out in Kansas or Tennessee in the past? I'm too lazy to look it up and I'm sure it's been mentioned what his shows were like in those areas in previous years/tours. Anyone able to fill me in? Is it just that he's not as big in those areas?

Bonnaroo and the CMA Fan Fair garbage are the only things that sell well in Tennessee.

15 minutes until showtime in Dallas and the place is empty. The streets are covered in ice and traffic is moving at a steady 10 miles per hour however.
