Kanye is one of the top 10 artists in the world right now (using popularity, sales, awards, ticket sales as just a few metrics) let alone on a festival lineup. For every person that would not come if Kanye were there, 10 would come largely because he was there.
And I think the ultimate coup would be to have Kanye and Phil L/Bob W (or some combination) both headline in the same year and promote some sort of jam between them - it might be train-wreck horrible, but I sure wouldn't miss it.

For starters, you are calling someone an idiot for posting a sarcastic comment that you in turn took to be serious.
Why entertain the idea of Kanye West as a headliner? Because he puts on a fantastic show? He has headlined festivals before and done an excellent job? Because he's one of the biggest musical acts in the world and would get a ton of people to buy tickets?
Here's a dose of reality: your personal distaste for Kanye has literally no bearing on what AC/Superfly do with their festival. If Kanye is at a reasonable cost, they will book him. And if they book him, he is headlining. He was billed 4th last time he visited, he's not going down the lineup now that he's an even bigger star. And seeing how Kanye has never had an issue about playing shows due to tardiness or personal behavior before, with the exception of that '08 show, why would you think he will not show up? Keeping in mind he did play that show, he was just very late and has obvious reasons for that (PJ went late, Roo's sound people - who have since been replaced and never had a good track record - couldn't get the sound right).
As someone who also hates Kanye for how he acts. I think Kanye would be fucking awesome at Roo, there is no denying that the show would be so fucking entertaining and also, not to mention all the hits, the crowd would be absolutely bonkers. The music he puts out is fucking awesome. So bring Kanye i'd have a fucking blast. Just because the guy acts like an egotistical prick doesn't mean his performance would be that way. We're so spoiled with social media and entertainment weekly and all this gossip shit that looks in to the personal lives of famous people, so we can't separate what we see in the tabloids with how they perform. It's fucking retarded.
For comparison, people think Tom Cruise is a fucking nut case, and i totally agree. But i fucking love the shit out of his movies, and his acting work he has done.
