Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
This is the first time I've seen the green chairs. Those are free to borrow?
The chairs on The Hill are for all VIP members. First come, first serve. With that said, there is plenty of room on The Hill if you bring your own chair. You can also just sit on top of The Hill without a chair and it’s still an awesome view.
Nice first post. How difficult is it get one of those green chairs? If I showed up 10 minutes into a headliner, would I still be able to snag one?
I went to the Rodrigo y Gabriela set, which I didn’t intend on doing beforehand, just to secure a good seat on The Hill for Radiohead. I’m sure I’ll do the same for Macca. As with anything at Roo, it’s hit or miss. But if you want to secure a good seat for a big headliner, I suggest you get there very early.

I have been meaning to ask this but is the hill considered a sit down situation? All the pics I've seen everyone is sitting down. I don't think I want to sit when I see Macca.
Can only speak for 2011, but that year during the headliners there was enough room for sitters to sit and standers to stand. The Hill allows everyone to do what they wanna do and watch the show in peace!
