Man, I had forgotten about this thread...glad I found it...
yes, we must meet up. I would love to meet some fellow 'mo's.
And to the above poster about segregating ourselves...
it's not that we want to segregate ourselves, far from it. It's just nice to sometimes know you're with some other gay people. I can't explain it, it's just comforting sometimes. And it's a lot easier said than done asking someone if they're gay or not if there's an interest. We're engrained that straight guys will be very defensive if they know "a gay" is interested in them.

And it should be that way. You would think it would be flattering when anyone thinks you're god looking. <sigh> unfortunately, it's not quite like that all the time. Thankfully, I'm from Austin, so the gay vibe here is very accepted.

That was kinda the point of my earlier post that I got all smoted for. In the outside world, gay communities are necessary, because of all the motherfuckers that hate gays for dumb reasons (safety and security in numbers). Inside our bonnaroo, everyone is having far too good of a time to bother with such minor differences.
^^but I understand the other point in this also - sometimes it is nice to be surrounded by people that "understand" you and won't judge you. I can't see anyone who made the trek to the farm being a judgmental type - but there are always a few

lol... I've had my fair share of other dudes hitting on me...
Honestly, it is pretty flattering. Not exactly my bag of tricks, but hey, I must be doing something right. I'm never hostel about it, just kinda laugh it off and try to avoid anything awkward for both sides of the equation.
...just kinda wish the women paid me the same attention... ;D
I'm coming 2 Roo '08 in an RV with 2 hot str8 girlfriends and their 2 allegedly stoner teenage daughters.... damn, I must be nuts. Or not. We are all cool. It's about the music. Its about the adventure. Its about the P A R T Y !! Come by our place and say helloooo...
I'm a bi guy and going with my bf this year. My second roo and his first. Last year I was with a group of 10 or so people and had one gay buddy with me and this year along with my bf, my group has 2 other gay guys. We might be up for meeting up with some like-minded people. In general though I pretty much agree with the sentiments of some of the other posters on this thread that one of the nice things about Bonnaroo is how there don't seem to be cliques and groups of people only trying to hang out with people from similar backgrounds. That being said, I'm pretty sure my other gay buddies who are coming along would be up for meeting up and maybe make some new friends or whatever.
