Some good dance choreography and some of the songs were ok. Mainly Memory, of course.
Everything involving Rebel Wilson was terrible. Her getting the first big feature number (and all of the other insane shit that accompanies that) makes it really hard for the movie to recover lmao.
It wasn't good, but it was better than people made it out to be, imo. Most of the things that were bad about it were probably from the stage production (the lyrics, the non-story). I'm guessing some of the jokes were unique to this movie, and those were mostly awful, though.
I recently signed up for Netflix's DVD service (I know!) and finally got a chance to watch this. I could watch a full hour of Jack White talking with the First Nations elders.

This is pretty great so far. Goes into a lot more detail on the Nation of Islam that you you usually don't get when reading about Malcolm. My only complaint is the editing is a little loose and they could have probably gotten by with at least 1 less episode.
I started watching this just because it's Wu-Tang, but the whole show is really well done. I'm already excited for season two, and I haven't even finished season one.
