I love that The Beach Boys are 2nd. I thought people would be lukewarm on them because it seemed like people weren't into their performance at the Grammys. Also love that SBTRKT, FlyLo, and Battles are so high.

Wait...here's something I hadn't thought of until just now:
Should we include comedians in our rankings? Because if so, I was just watching Aziz's Intimate Moments special, and if I'm being honest, he would probably be like #6 on my list, right above Battles. Honestly can't wait to see his standup again. As I've said frequently, I've never in my entire life laughed as much as I did at his set at Bonnaroo 2010 (which apparently should be coming out on DVD really soon).

This list is subject to change depending on Superjam's line-up.
1. Radiohead 2. Ben Folds Five 3. RHCP 4. Battles 5. Phish 6. The Word 7. Alabama Shakes 8. Black Lips 9. St Vincent 10. tune-yards
#10 would be my #1 if I hadn't seen them in october and wasn't seeing them right before Bonnaroo. I still think their set will kick enough @$$ to warrant threepeats.
The honorable mentions it pained me to overlook were The Shins, Fitz, Joy Formidable, Ivan Neville and Moon Taxi.

This is why I love this board. Nearly every band has at least a point. On my list of bands that I would see if no one else is playing, I have Kathleen Edwards, Orgone and K Flay on it. Cheers to diversity!
