Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm bringing the same, only without the griddle, but with plenty of skillets and pans. AM has the dreaded "gluten" alergy (wheat, barley, & rye), so we need to be prepared for limited options in Centeroo. Fortunately, she could probably eat every meal at the taco truck.
I have celiac disease so I'm well aware of the dreaded problem. It is always a pain but it's doable at Bonnaroo.
I just got testing done and learned I am allergic to milk, wheat, and soy. so much, to the point I need to eliminate them all from my life. this explains why I always feel like I have the flu, and have an ulcer. so I am really not looking forward to my very limited options on food choices. soy is in EVERYTHING.
But well, all the wheat/soy/corn nowadays is genetically modified and doing horrible things to people who eat it. And the artificial hormones in milk. I'm surprised its not way more prevalent.

O.M. FLIPPIN. G. - do I ever need to get the frick outta Michigan and down to the farm! Life is crazy and I am SO SO SO overdue of a vacation.... what could be better than this!!!!
So I have a massive pile of camping equipment just setting in my kitchen floor. This poop is getting real! Crazy how it seems as if I just got back from roo yesterday.
Okay, the Sanctuary has taken a hit, well it took it a while ago. apparently, my design has some flaws thanks to tropical storm BERYL (which was not a lot of wind and rain) the structure was pushed to the ground, nothing broke, but apparently PVC is extremely flexible! I stole this design from a structure I saw in Black Rock City. I found pictures of it on the Internet. I tried to recreate it from the pictures and my memory. I no long have confidence in my design, a little wind and rain changed that. I am glad I found that out now. Since then I have frantically been trying come make something comparable. I have went back to my original Monkey Hut design. I have added 5 foot leg extension to that. this will allow for air flow. It has been up all day and has taken on a side wind of 25-30mph, all day. It is holding up, there is some strange twisting, but that is because of curves in certain pieces of PVC. Pieces that were curved when Beryl came to town. I have other PVC poles I am going to use. These all have the same curve.
My original plan, for a cool group shade area is still intact. I still plan to have a chill, visual stimulating shade structure, but it has shrunk in size.
On a good note, this structure(the Monkey Hut) I have built many times, by myself, it will go up a lot faster than the other design.

We decided it was time to try VIP.
So you all all meet up and posse in? what about RV VIP'ers vs. reg VIP? Why didnt my lazy ass read this whole thread that might contain these answers? who knows? Best not to dwell on these things.

chemicalbrother is legit! He is my homie from WAY WAY WAY back in the day. Just found him on here like 3 days ago. We used to go to raves (lol) together like 12 years ago.
Greetings all, this will me my 7th Roo but first in VIP.... i am very excited to see what this is all about. i look forward to meeting lots of new Roo'ers
I'm going to be coming in from Nashville - what's the best exit to take to get to the meetup point? Thanks!
Exit 114. If you're coming from Nashville, turn LEFT at the exit. The meetup location (either the Red Hill Church of Christ or the Home Depot) will be ~1mi from the exit just past the WalMart on your right and a Toyota dealership on your right. The road to enter VIP (Kimberly Ln) is directly in front of the Toyota place.

I know in the past they have many of the eastbound exits closed and force you to overshoot Manchester and come back from the west. Thanks for the info, see you soon!

Question: The VIP directions say get off exit 105 and come down 41.
I assume they do that to get more people off the interstate sooner? I have always come in on HWY 55 so I don't know what the interstate set up is like except I know they close down exits.
Can you get off at exit 114 no matter what with your VIP tag?
Hey now, don't laugh about going to raves. Back in the day they were awesome
As for me, emailed my roo parking contact and await her response. 45 cars and 100 or so people is something for them to take seriously.
See you all soon. Radiohead tomorrow.
For everyone panicking, you can't plan for everything. Go with the flow and it will work out. Just give Yourself a little time in case there are snafus
OK Holls... Any recommendations for a place to grab dinner in Chattanooga? Arriving and staying there Wednesday night
SWEET! Y'all are gonna be HERE?!? Call me when you get in (you've got my # on the contact list) and I'll come join you! If you're staying downtown, I'm about a mile away. Let me know what you're in the mood for & I can make recommendations accordingly. (Or, if y'all prefer a nice romantic dinner, that's cool too!)
I just wanted to say hello and toss my hat into the ring. My husband and I are returning to VIP this year and are looking for some friendly folks in the area. I would have written earlier but our jobs in the Army made it impossible for us to confirm our leave until three days ago!
If allowed, we will be meeting up at the parking lot as well! Looking forward to meeting new friends... -Robin
