Last night's show was amazing. Thom's rhythms are ridiculous, and the show had a lot of high-energy dancey stuff as well as some trance, some more sparse Radioheadesque songs and he ended the set with "Unmade". I fully admit that I'm not as familiar with Thom's solo catalog as I am with Radiohead but I generally trust what he does with sound, and I was not at all disappointed. "Black Swan" was especially killer live. Secondhand prices plummeted leading up to the show, and I recommend snagging one if you get the chance.

Oh wow, you weren't kidding about the prices dropping. In for Chicago!

DC show was sick. I heard people complain afterwards that they would have rather seen Thom at a different GA venue such as The Anthem, but I thought the Kennedy Center had amazing acoustics and made sure that people stayed attentive.
last night was pretty much perfect. i got to briefly catch up with Fitter Happier and his friend before the show. really enjoyed oliver coates, and glad we made it in time to see him. the nicest surprise of the night was when we got our tickets and realized that i bought seats in the second row. it was pretty surreal to be that close to somehow who has essentially felt like a magical character for my entire life. thom sounded great, and the crowed was awesome, all dancing together in this beautiful theatre. my phone is pretty garbage, but here are a couple photos we snuck because i felt like we had to, being a few feet from the stage.

That show was amazing! The visual arrangements were so beautiful and such a nice touch. I loved the setlist -- so happy they closed with Unmade. That encore stretch of The Axe>Atoms For Peace>Default>Unmade was perfect. Some loud talkers, but they surprisingly got quiet when I asked them to and/or left ridiculously early. beebee and Mr. beebee are dope. Pretty nice theatre in downtown Cleveland. Thankfully, everyone stood the whole show -- I danced my ass off. Definitely worth the money and short trip from Pittsburgh, even being pretty far back on the floor.
Met him in the back of the venue. There was a crowd of people. I was the first there by an hour because I couldn’t afford to go to the show. He came out roughly half an hour after the show was finished. Made a point to have a conversation with everyone there (probably 75-100).
I asked if I could take him out for some beers and he said if he didn’t have to go to KC he would. He signed my copy of In Rainbows and even wrote it out to me. When he handed it back he said “THUNDER AND LIGHTNING” and I honestly had no clue what to say so we awkwardly stared at each other

I love knowing Thom Yorke and Katy Perry almost grabbed some beers together
Christmas has come early for Radiohead fans, and Santa’s been very generous. Almost 18 hours (!) of OK Computer studio sessions have leaked online.
Spread across 18 mini discs, the music files include countless previously unreleased demos, outtakes, live recordings, and unfinished versions of tracks from the band’s OK Computer era. Reddit users have meticulously indexed each disc in a Google Doc, and there are enough highlights to keep Radiohead diehards busy for days.
The leaked material features early iterations of “I Promise”, “Airbag”, “Paranoid Android”, “Let Down”, “Palo Alto”, and “The Tourist”. Demos and live radio session renditions of “Motion Picture Soundtrack” are included, as are soundcheck versions of “No Surprises”.
