It was fun. Laughed a good bit when I started to realize what the bit was but then it felt a little played out by the end of the episode too. But either way, glad the best comedy series is back!
Yeah totally, in recent years that tends to be how they do it, just driving the same joke in over and over again. This time they actually called themselves out on it too, at least with the Matt Damon bit.

I still need to watch that last special that's on Paramount+. The one where they are grown up. I gotta move my firestick out to my living room cuz that's the only way I can access it. I watched the first few minutes and liked it a lot.

It's in two parts. Post Covid and Return of Covid. Both are a little over an hour with no ads. I thought they were great. Adult Stan and Kyle are literally Trey and Matt. Look and sound just like them.
Yeah that was amazing. White puppy and black puppy was the hardest I laughed at this show in a long time. Trey and Matt are always at their peak when they slyly rip on themselves.
Streaming Wars (the latest special on Paramount+) was pretty great. Trey and Matt are really ripping on themselves (and even more so their fans) for all the shit they've gotten for spreading their content over multiple platforms. Made better by more ManBearPig and PeePee Water Park returns.
Streaming tonight. Ween, Primus, Trey and Matt performing South Park songs. Full audio is already on youtube, but can watch tonight on Comedy Central or on Paramount+ tomorrow.
Not knowing exactly what you might hear was the most fun part, so without spoiling too much, here are the artists’ favorite tunes that they worked on:
For Mickey Melchiondo, a.k.a. Dean Ween, it was “Let’s Fighting Love.” For Claypool, it was “Lemmiwinks.” For Parker and Stone, they were stoked to serve Yelpers a side of boogers and you know what. Their live rendition featured a live tap dancing break.
The telecast is on Paramount+, which is most of it but not all of it. It's just missing some solo Ween and solo Primus songs, along with Merry Fucking Christmas because I think Trey fucked it up.
Still it was highly enjoyable. The Lemmiwinks song was probably my favorite along with the America Fuck Yeah encore.
