Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Oh, man, this got me thinking. I was 24 years old when I originally signed up for Inforoo. I’m 40 now.
When I joined I had just graduated college and wanted to see my favorite band (Radiohead) for the first time in the middle of nowhere in Tennessee, and was a bit freaked out about going to my first festival solo so I came here to find more info (hah!). It was probably the best decision of my life. Aside from meeting countless wonderful people and friends, I met my husband here, and then made a whole additional human with him. I'll be 40 later this year. What a wild ride, Inforoo!

Hey guys, can we adopt an official pro boards buddy forum? I found this one dedicated to fictional accounts of female celebrity boxing matches and it’s just the best thing

FYI:
AEG, one of the two concert industry giants who put on tours, festival and shows, have announced a 30-day window for ticket holders to get refunds on events that have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The New York Times reports that a document was circulated to talent agents saying that the 30-day window will begin May 1 and will only be available for shows that have already announced rescheduled dates. If something has just been “postponed” with no new date, ticket holders will get 30 days to request a refund once the new date has been announced.
AEG’s properties include Goldenvoice festivals like Coachella, Cruel World and Lovers and Friends (which were all rescheduled from the spring to later in 2020) and Bowery Presents (which they acquired in 2017).
Ticketmaster, which is owned by Live Nation, the other major concert promoter, has been under fire recently for altering the language of its refund policy, and put out a new statement saying that “while we cannot guarantee all event organizers will offer refunds on their rescheduled events, we anticipate the vast majority will make a refund window available once new dates have been determined.”
In a separate statement to New York Times, Live Nation said its “plan is to continue offering an opportunity for refunds on all of its rescheduled shows as new dates are set. We anticipate those windows will begin to open up on an event by event basis in the next few weeks.”
Here's the before picture. Recipe called for raw bacon laid out on a tray with cayenne sprinkled on, red pepper flakes, black pepper and finally brown sugar to caramelize. I only had light brown sugar so I went with - cayenne, a little Vietnamese Cinnamon, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, cracked black pepper and light brown sugar which I hope will still caramelize. I'll get you an after in 30 minutes and report. Obviously I could have used more sugar, but I only wanted a little. Also, it's Covid-19 bacon in honor of the hundreds of infected people who worked at Smithfield in South Dakota where the governor still refuses to put in a shelter in place order.
Edit that the smell is past out of bounds on this. I think it will be very good.
Way spicier than I thought it would be, but Simply Organic might be super spicy cayenne. It was a new bottle and first time I used it. However, as a Louisiana boy, I don't let spice get in my way.
Definitely up there with some of the best bacon I've ever cooked.

I buy Simply Organic for virtually everything. Good stuff.
Agreed. Their spices have a good depth of flavor you don’t find in more generic shit like McCormick. Next time I’m out of Vietnamese cinnamon I’m going to try their Ceylon cinnamon.
The only difference between light and dark brown sugar is how much molasses is in it.
Pile that brown sugar on, esteban . The sugar will balance out the spice.
Ceylon cinnamon is the good stuff. It’s often referred to as “true cinnamon.” It’s worth every penny. Much more subtle and floral.
Thanks Kait. I read that while it was cooking and saw that it was a few percentage points of molasses content. It worked out great btw. My worry was that I don't know baking. It's such a science and the wrong this or that can completely change chemistry - contrast that with food where you can go in any direction with anything and generally not f it up. But yeah, it was perfect.
Thanks for the rec on the Ceylon cinnamon. I love the Vietnamese which we got last week for the white sweet potatoes we found. I already like cinnamon as it is, but the taste of Simply Organic's brought me immediately to Vietnamese Iced Coffee which I personally love. So I'm excited to try the Ceylonese. Our family's priest was Ceylonese (Sri Linkan I suppose now), Father Tim. He'd always bring my mom black tea from there - orange pekoe when he'd go back to Ceylon to visit his mother. Even now it's my most favorite tea.
It took me several tries over the years to get through the first third of that movie, which I finally did last year. It's quite slow and dare I say boring at times but holy shit the payoff.

No 25.00 extra for the happy ending which gives the slow and boring parts even more of a creepy feel. Hal could be considered soft spoken evil but he was doing his job maybe too unless I missed the point completely.

Still haven't made it through. You have given me hope.
