If you want tickets at face value, I would by them on friday as soon as they go onsale. Especially if the lineup is good! I wouldn't expect them to last to saturday.
Also, from what I have heard (I'm a local) there will not be any repeat performances from the first 2 years.
Hangout seems like a good festival lineup-wise but after hearing all those horror stories from this past year I think I'll wait til I hear some reports on Hangout 2012 before I head down to bama. Maybe 2013 if they get more organized and hopefully the late nights will be included in the original ticket price.
dude, don't wait... you will regret it. Trust me! I have been last two years with great expectations both years and it blew them out of the water. To let a little heat bother you is crazy. There have been numerous articles down here saying how much they are changing things and expanding the actual festival grounds. Besides all that, Hangout Fest won an award at the Expo in LA last week for being best music fest. so for only being around for 2 years they are doing something right. The organizer and owner has so much money its not even funny so problems and deficiencies will be obsolete this year. If you end up hating it I WILL reimburse you personally.
