TVOTR is opening for Khruangbin at Gunnersbury Park in London next August. Looks like a confirmation that they'll be active next year as well
Good on Khruangbin for bringing them along, but why on Earth would anyone want an opening act whose live performances are so incendiary that your own set will pale in comparison?

TVOTR is one of my favorite bands, but having just seen Khruangbin last month, their live show is pretty fantastic. It’ll be a vibe shift, but I think it’ll be ok for the headliners.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

Now we get to see how his direct ticket works on a bigger scale. Still expecting pricey tickets though

my openers better than headliner story is stand up comedy. several years ago saw Amy Schumer in New Orleans, here openers were Theo Von and Nikki Glaser. as much shit as Schumer catches from, well, pretty much everyone, i always respect that she had two openers who were leagues better than her. and her set was perfectly fine, by then both the crowd and Amy were so drunk it was basically a party. fun night.

Direct ticket? LA show is being sold by Ticketmaster, not sure how that is "direct":
