i still believe the funniest part of this to be that any band besides like, 12 of the same texas country artists, would play billy bob's

Thank you for being the first person to realize an integral part of this joke I deliberately crafted two years ago.
to be clear that sounds incredibly snarky but I mean it: I was hoping one day someone would notice the sheer dipshittery of having any alt band play Billy Bob's and I'm so glad Andrew finally noticed.

North American dates next year are by no means assured and more unlikely than likely, but if they happen in 2025, it'll be because they want to shake off the rust far from home so that they're ready to grab the UK by the throat next Summer. I'd think that U.S. April/May fests are the best chance for shows on this side of the Atlantic next year.
If they don't do this next year, I'd expect them to headline a whole bunch of U.S. festivals in 2026, as long as they're still getting along and want more money.

I know the full post mentions a tour in Europe and North America, but the part showing made me think about how peak Gallagher Brothers it would be to finally reunite and then just play the UK.

It would be better if they start in the US, get in a fight on stage and break up before the home town shows.

This tour is going to be what we were talking about with Bright Eyes but a hundred times stronger. Whatever the tour routing is, everyone better hope they are on the front end of it bc there's no part of me that will ever be surprised to wake up to news of them going Brian Jonestown Massacre and getting in a fist fight on stage.
Upcoming Shows: 11/8 - Goose @ The Andrew J. Brady Center 11/13 - Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros w/ The Wolfpack & The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra @ Cincinnati Music Hall 2/14 - Alan Walker @ The Fillmore Detroit 4/15 - Ben Folds w/ The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra @ Cincinnati Music Hall
I would have said no but we’ve had Talking Heads hash out their differences and do an interview circuit now Oasis reuniting so who knows now. Never thought any of this was possible 10 years ago.

The difference to me is that I feel like everyone knew Oasis would get back together one day. They just love the spotlight and money too much. No one ever said never.
I would have put Talking Heads or REM at less than 1% but they've both done stuff lately that has made me wonder.
The ones I would put at less than 1% are the bad breakups like Thurston and Kim or the Cocteaus.

Daft Punk is definitely 0% or as close to that as possible
