I meant to tag you in those Kikagaku Moyo dates I posted yesterday. Do you listen to them? I feel like you'd like them.
They're great for anyone who thinks Tame Impala is just too darn loud.
I feel like I know the name from somewhere. Like they either played Levitation, or opened for some band I like. But no, not familiar with them. Will definitely check them out though.
Unfortunately, they're coming through Austin after I leave for Idaho, so won't be able to catch them on this tour.
There are a solid dozen shows I'd love to see in Austin in the stretch of May-July. I guess I'm saving money this way? Ya, gonna think of it this way

Hopefully I can grab tickets to the Boston date! Then I'll be able to see Depeche Mode, U2, Tears for Fears, and Hall and Oates for the first time this year. Great year for me to see my favorite legacy artists.
Don't tell that to DM and U2 fans, they'll rip into you for referring to them as legacy.
I saw Hall & Oates last year at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield. Was a fun show, but this tour combination with Tears for Fears looks way cooler.
Honestly DM is still making great music and Delta Machine is one of my favorite albums. U2 on the other hand hasn't come out with something I personally enjoyed in a long time. That's why I'll pay to see DM alone and see U2 at a festival where it's more cost effective.

Oh totally agreed! DM definitely won't just play the greatest hits for nostalgia's sake.
hit me up, man! I'll likely have a lil crew back on the lawn and I'd love for you to join. I'll show up early and ensure that we have a prime viewing spot and I'd love for you to join the pack
Aaron Carter is playing in my town theater next month.
We are a very small town; population 8,943 (the town motto is "Everybody likes Pitman" - not loves, but likes). Our theater usually hosts productions from the local high school and part-time actors. Preceding Carter's performance are two back-to-back performances of "Charlotte's Web".
What.

It's a tough choice if I'd rather see the brother of a Backstreet Boy or a production of Charlotte's Web. The spider might win out.

What's the snack situation?
A friend of mine convinced me to go see "Nick & Knight" about 2 years ago. It was full of middle aged women screaming like 12 year old girls... (UGH). Not something I would opt to go myself, but it was a good night out. What can I say. I listened to New Kids/Jordan and BSB back in the day...

Seems to be a lock that Fleet Foxes will be back for their third appearance at ACL. I always thought they would be a better experience at Bonnaroo and had been hoping for years to catch them there. Not sure why Robin hates the idea of playing there so much.

As a NOLA girl that was born in Columbia, MD and moved here at 6 months old, I am very disappointed in the amount of shows that are skipping NOLA but playing Columbia.

Presale code for most of these shows is "mearcstapa". Also, Robin's said multiple times on Instagram that they would be touring everywhere and that in the short term there's still a full tour set for the US in September that hasn't been announced yet.
