Jesus, these guys are true road warriors. 40 shows in 40 days. ZERO days off the whole tour. They start in San Diego, cross the whole country, and end back up in LA. It's been too long since I've seen them, need to make this show happen.
If you've never seen them before, and the phrase "psychedelic guitar freak out" gets you excited, what are you waiting for? Always a great show. Their tickets are always super cheap too.

Thank you for mentioning this, I would've missed it.
Going to try to make it down from Louisville. Have you been able to find when tickets go on sale?
I haven't looked into it at all.
But you should absolutely not miss it. One of my top 3 shows I saw last year. When I saw him for the Sirens release tour, he just played for 2 hours, no opener. Absolutely enthralling.
Super excited for you guys getting to check him out!
Wanted to give you an update that A) My wife and I got tickets and B) we convinced two Nashville friends who know nothing about Nicolas Jaar to come too. So that is going to be really fun.

Awesome, and turning new people onto Nico is always a good thing

I'm not sure who is on this particular tour, but fuck the world, Natalie Merchant (former singer) is a fucking muse and outspoken critic of Drumpf.

No Atlanta date. I think that makes them a lock for Music Midtown, which will probably be a couple days before that Nashville date.

I want to believe this. Although I don't know if that would be a good decision for them given who their new target demographic seems to be. Beck was by far the oldest act on the lineup this past year and was definitely the least crowded of the headliners. I would be very happy though, hopefully you're right.

Two things, 1 I think I'm aiming for the D.C. Date. 2 does this make them more or less likely for voodoo?

It makes too much sense not to at least add an Atlanta date in there, if not.

I completely agree, I just don't want to be let down. The past few years of Music Midtown haven't exactly had the greatest lineups ever so I'm a little skeptical.
